Stayed in Maastricht July and Sep 2005 and went to Tongeren each time for the flea market. Many dealers were the same each time but most stock had changed so even with what I consider generally high prices things were selling. If it's what you want you can justify the price!
We found several things to buy too from a perfect 1940's plaster bust at 20 euros to a terrific ceiling light fitting at 25 euros. As usual though throughout this part of Europe, Art Deco was not cheap - but hasn't been for at least 25 years. Several casual sellers so there is wide variety in stock. Drive to Maastricht as there are several more warehouses on route selling everyting from life size statues of Jesus/Madonna to poor repro. Maastricht is a great destination for a weekend break and cheaper than London or Paris and food is good. There's a market by the rail station Saturday mornings and a larger market four times a year.
