“Bad customer service”

We've been staying here for 1 night from 24 Dec to 25 Dec. We arrived around 8 p.m. and checked-in without any problems.
As it was Christmas the restaurant was holding a Christmas dinner which I suppose should have been booked in advance. We've asked the receptionist if it was possible to have a dinner as we were travelling with two kids and his answer was "no". Room service was also not available at this night. We were of course not advised in advance about this situation. So the receptionist suggested us to go to a pizza place just on the opposite side of the street which of course was also closed.
So we had to drive around with both kids for 40 minutes at 9 o'clock in the night looking for a place were we can have something to eat for the kids. It was really not nice to send us out with two kids on the night of Christmas.
Speaking about the room it was good - very convenient and tidy.

We are sorry to hear that your stay did not work out as expected.

On Christmas Eve, guests who wish not to have our menu can have dinner in our Lindbergh Bar/ Brasserie. Off course, we propose a limited menu on this exceptional occasion. We propose a few snacks or (part of) our Christmas menu.

Unfortunately, we were not able to find out who could have said 'no' to you (it's been 2,5 months since your visit).

To make it up, we propose that you send us an email on david@hotelcharleroiairport.be for your next visit. We'll provide you with a preferential rate and a free upgrade.

It's 7 km far from the airport and you have to pay for a shuttle that doesn't come to pick you up. They know they are far from any facility so they take advantage of it. Never paid so much for such a small plate for my dinner room service! And the sodas are 3 euros but come in a bottle of 20cl, not 33! Etc. Very disappointing place.

I stayed in this hotel because of close proximity to Charleroi airport, otherwise I would NOT stay here. I thought I reserved the park, sleep, fly arrangement and to our surprise every thing was piece meal. Meaning the parking and the shuttle were additional prices. Unlike other airport hotels which makes an all included price. On top of this the reception service was arrogant. Why be friendly to guest when they know the guest has no choice once at their hotel? Airport hotel Monopoly trap!

Room Tip: Factor in the add ons to avoid being sticker shocked!

Nice hotel near the airport. Especially for those who have to catch an early flight. There is a shuttle service to the airport as well - 4.50 euro each way (not included in the price). Just an average hotel. The staff at the reception did not seem very excited to welcome new guests..

We stayed a night here due to an "accident", so our experience is limited. We chose this hotel, because It seemed easy to get there without taxi and the price per room seemed acceptable. On arrival We had the first shock: the "free" transfer is EUR 4.50 per person per way (for the 4 months old kid as well). Then we got the room key: the room was quite big with a queen size bed and designed with the latest trend, It is true. Unfortunately the hotel has "only one cot" (unacceptable). At the bar/restaurant is also very trendy, but the stuff can not charge the consumption to the room bill, so PAY immediately...poor. We asked phone wake up service to 6am, because the transfer bus leave the hotel at 6:40 to the airport. This realized as a phone call at 6:35: "The trasnfer bus leave the hotel in 5 minutes. Hurry". When we asked the receptionist what happened the wake up service, His answer: Sorry. Never ever again....

Good room, bad shuttle service!
Good clean rooms. But I'am waiting on the shuttle bus, we called, they promised the shuttle will be there in 20 mins. Already waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes....

Just called again... Now they are that he will leave the hotel en will be there in 10 minutes...

Spent a night in this hotel due to the fact that it's close to the airport. I chose to upgrade to the comfort room and it was really worth it, since it was really nice and comfortable (I think they have been recently remade). I would suggest this hotel to anybody, just the restaurant is too expensive...
