“Creative Food, Great Place for Lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2012

My best friend who lives in Brussels took me to lunch here when I last visited. You pick either two or three dishes and they are all served at the same time. I started with Gravadlax, then a pasta dish and finally a chicken in a soya sauce. Small portions but perfectly sufficient for lunch. The restaurant staff left us in peace and we were able to have a jolly good natter. Champagne to start with (good) and we had a red Argentinian wine (very good)

A great experience and would go again

“Brussels can be creative!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2012

For all those that are desperately searching for creativity in the Brussels cuisine. Only a few restaurants in Brussels can claim to be able to surprise its guests.

This restaurant is not very well known and is additionally not very visible from the street. The interior is very tasteful and modern and you feel immediately comfortable. The menu is presented in an original way in a backlight plexi tube in different colours. If you have never eaten there ask the waiter for an explanation as it is not immediately clear. Unfortunately not even all of the waiters are able to explain it clearly.

Take the point bar menu where you can chose one dish of each displayed category. You will receive then three dishes presented in glasses or on small glass plates. It's very original and also very tasteful with a mix of Italian and Asian flavours. Desserts can be ordered separately.

If you are not used to such a type of food, be ready to being surprised and enthusiastic. You will definitely spend a good moment and have something different from the grey mass of boring restaurants.

“Great Environment - Fantastic food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2012

Point bar is a must visit restaurant. I have been there a few times and each one was great. The environment is great; nice lightning and homy and elegant decoration at the same time. I always ask for a table close to the street as the space is even nicer and its not so close from the kitchen.

Personnel is also great. They will always serve you with a smile (which is not sth common in brussels) and will make you feel comfortable by offering a drink if you table is not ready. They also take a lot of time to explain the dishes - which is required as all the "plates" are not standard.

The food is of course great! you have a menu from which you select starter (if you want) and the main dish which consists of 3 different "plates". This restau doesn't really have plates as everything comes in glasses! I wouldn't suggest something specifically - I try each time to take something different and everything is the delicious! The only thing that might bother you is that the quantities are not massive. Lets say that you eat just the right quantity.

Wine selection is acceptable and in reasonable prices.
Including a bottle of wine and a menu for two without desserts and tip you should expect to pay 90€.

Enjoy!!

“I just love this place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2012

The restaurant is located in a small street not far away from the Toison d'Or.

The experience starts with the colorful menu and the way you can choose your courses.
The food is gorgeous and served in a very original way : in small glasses and pots.

Make sure to reserve as from Thursday it can get very busy!

“Quirky and fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2012

Well worth seeking out this unobtrusive 'restobar'. It has an unusual approach to dining - you choose three dishes and they all come at the same time, in a wide variety of glasses. The quality of the food was a little variable - from excellent to slightly odd. Service was very good, and the surroundings are very chic.
