We came on I Latini by accident - we were staying nearby and passed it on a stroll past St Catherine's Church. The area is a little bit away from the eateries around Grand Place but because of that is much less pressured and pricey - there are plenty of restaurants around St Catherine's, but they have a more local and relaxed feel. The square in front of the church itself has the feel of an Italian piazza, helped by the restaurants with their outdoor seating, for which the weather was perfect when we visited. We used I Latini twice - on each occasion, there was no problem getting an outdoor table, and as an Italian restaurant, there was a good choice for us as vegetarians. The pizzas on the first visit were delicious. On the second visit, we had the mixed pasta plate of four different pasta samples; there was no problem making us a veggie version, which was superb. Desserts were equally good, and the house wine reasonable and tasty. Service was excellent and the atmosphere, sitting in the evening warmth, was delightful. Thoroughly recommended!
