Although the waiter was super friendly and nice, the taste of food was pretty bad. Sakura in Leuven is hundred times better.

Lovely Japanese restaurant. Contrary to popular belief from other reviews its actually NOT Chinese owned, (I'm sure we all look the same to you) but they were actually they are from Laos.

Very reasonable prices, authentic decorations and great food. A very good night out.

This is a good place for basic Japanese-style food. Obviously like often it is cooked by Chinese people but the service is good and fast. Prices are good as well as portions. Thye have sushis, sashimis, ramen soups, gyozas, tempura, and plenty of other options. If you are really hungry and do not have much time I would recommend this place.

When feeling like some sushi in a traditional japanese setting with fast and polite service, come and have a menu. Not the cheapest but worth it because of the experience itself. I did not try the sashimi.

The Sakura is around the corner from the Thai restaurant street by the old market. It's a cosy little restaurant with friendly staff, courteous service and a reasonable menu. This is one of my "go to" places if I am on my own, or when there are more of us and I can't get a table at the other Japanese restaurants in town.

Staff is not Japanese, but the food is pretty good for all that. Good fresh sashimi are recommended, along with the tempura which are very well cooked indeed. Not cheap, but not as expensive as you might think.

Recommended.
