I was so excited to go to this restaurant since where I live (Atlanta) there are few opportunities to eat Moroccan food. First off the welcome was ho-hum. The food was OK but they gave us bad advice and we ended up with enough food for twice as many people as were present, they should have recommended we share the Couscous royal and not get 2 (they actually said 2 when we ordered). Upselling is one thing, gouging another.
But the kicker came with the bill, steep as it was, when the waitress refused to process my Visa card saying it did not have a 'puce' and she couldn't use it. She most certainly can. There is a swiper on the side of the machine but she kept insisting she couldn't. I've used these and have been traveling extensively in Europe for years, so that didn't wash - they just did not want to pay the CC fees. They ought to not be allowed to display the VISA payment sign since they can only take the ones with chip which limits them to a handful of countries.
All in all, very disappointing, there are better places for Moroccan food in Brussels, skip this one.
