Description: Soul is a unique restaurant near Brussels’ Sablon, the brainchild of two expat Finnish sisters dedicated to creating meals that heal. Seriously. Almost everything at this comfortable, stylish restaurant is organic and you’ll not find any butter or refined sugar. What you will find are mood menus, like the Happy Menu or the Cleansing Menu, as well as set menus and weekly specials, and dishes specified for purposes like curing migraine. You’ll also find organic beers, wines, champagne and juices. Dishes include starter of mussels and lentils with garlic and white wine, main course of chilli beef noodles, and dessert of carrot cake. The dining room features typical Belgian décor, with wooden wainscoting, ochre walls, wooden seating and tables, and food-themed prints on the walls. Groups up to 35 can take it over and enjoy the food, then adjourn to dance it off at Havana. Good food, no guilt.

We were in Brussels for our Wedding Anniversary and my husband cannot tolerate gluten so we went to Soul as they are organic. We have found Organic / vegan restaurants tend to know exactly what is in their food.
The food was wonderful, the flavour combinations excited our taste buds. There was a mix of tourist and locals. Yes the food takes a while but it is a small restaurant where they obviously care about the food so well worth the wait.

I went there last night, great service and atmosphere.
The waitress was alone but working hard, no waiting at all.
We didn't had a reservation but she managed to find a table and chase us for telling to come back.
The food was excellent, I took the lamb and it was delicious. One issue is that they claim to be gluten free, but actually they avoid to use bread and stuff like that (no alternatives).

Nice place, really cosy ! The food is really suprising, there is a lot of things inside the starters/main courses you're not expecting. It's nice to find a place where you can eat organic food without just having a salad ! I've also seen nice vegan and vegetarian food on the menu. You're all the time welcome and people there will answer to all your questions, take time for you. I recommend to all people who want a nice friendly place from where you leaving without feeling fat !
A really nice discover !

We went there with a group, and really had good fun. Soul is located in a small street nearby Sablon and gives this impression of a nice and relaxing place, with this touch of trendiness without being too mainstream. The service was good and friendly, although the waitress could have been more attentive (needed to catch her attention several times for renewing drinks, bringing salt/pepper, etc.). We really had a nice moment. Having read about this "natural cuisine" I was keen to try it, but this was the unimpressive part of the experience. The portions were small, the tastes were far from being revolutionary, the seasoning wasn't always appropriate. If you like this kind of food, a local organic shop (Namasthé in Schaerbeek, if you want the name) proposes a daily lunch which is twice bigger, with a better seasoning, and for half of the price.
I enjoyed the place very much, but the food was a total deception.
