We travelled pretty far out from where my friend lives in St. Catherine to visit Ispahan, and we weren't disappointed. Service was friendly and fast, the food was just divine. We went for the lamb shank and the chicken dishes from the a la carte menu, traditional Persian dough to drink and some wonderful Persian bread with maast-o khiar (yoghurt dipping sauce with cucumber). All was excellent, the saffron rice was a definite highlight.

Napkins full of holes (i have pictures if you dont believe that), all of them not just one..
No change of fork and knife between entree and main course...
kebab overcooked and dry, but this is typical of persian cuisine it seems.
Very expensive for such a quality, 50 euro per person with a bottle of (bad) spanish wine..
absolutely to avoid, believe me..
my girlfriend is persian and her food is divine, much better and cheaper to stay at home:-)

Definitely under appreciated meat restaurant in Brussels. Mainly iranian crowd, friendly service, extensive menu, great open fire prepared kebabs and eastern specialities (not spicy).
Private parking and home delivery available.
Not cheap, but its Brussels as it is... Recommend for a change, if you are tired of Italian and Belgo/French cuisines.

Do not loose your time and money as the food is not feshly made but everything is reheated frozen food or premade or from cans. The cook was turkish which is totally different than persian. Also the interior of the restaurant was very poor and the restrools were dirty.

I love this restaurant and go there regularly. The food is yummy, spicy and generous in portions. Excellent value for money. The dining room is spacious (always a plus in Brussels) and nicely decorated. It even has its own parking (a rarity in this town)!
