“Great dining experience”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

This is a delightful restaurant that offers superb service and wonderful food, at a price that is high but not outrageous. We chose it because it was open on a Sunday evening. That was our good fortune! We did struggle to find it, having taken the Metro to the nearest stop and then walked. A background in orienteering might have helped! Although it is formal restaurant, it is not stuffy. We ate outside in the walled garden courtyard where bird song interrupted our meal and the city seemed very remote.

“Excellent and Open in August”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

It proved very difficult to find a top class restaurant open in August - most are closed for their annual vacation. Fortunately this one was open and proved to be worthy of its Michelin star wth excellent food, wine and service. Only downsides are the price (but this is Brussels) and the location outside the city centre and requiring a taxi from the hotels.

On the hotest evening of the year some airco would have added to the enjoyment, but at least there is a small terrace with the sound of running water to at least give an illusion of cooling!

“Still an excellent choice”
Reviewed May 4, 2012 via mobile

Great food for à moderate price of 40€ if you choose for the lunch menu. Correct service, slighty longer waiting time (probably to "motivate" The Wine consumption). Overall a good impression and finally a restaurant which offers decent portions, which give the opportunity to enjoy at least multiple times the good flavour.

“Great experience!”
Reviewed May 4, 2012 via mobile

Lunch formula is a winner! 40 euros (drinks not included), 3 courses (choice of 4 dishes each time)

Staff and setting is quite formal, but very professional. No espumas or molecular stuff here... Just great products and a chef that respects them!

“A place to go.”
Reviewed March 13, 2012

I did not know the restaurant is Michelin starred, after the explosion of flavours and sensations, I understood why. It is slightly more expensive than others, but if you opt for one of the formulas it gives you the opportunity of experiencing something inusual at an affordable price. Extra: The surroundings, close to the Koekelberg Basilis, also help!
