If you are looking to have a fancy meal in a unique place, go to Belga Queen. It was worth it. I would suggest it for a date or a special night out. The old bank was so amazing inside.

There was a lot of food on my plate, but it didn't taste good, no vegetables,... service was only in French, not even an attempt to speak Dutch.

This big restaurant in the centre of the city has a spectacular decor and on a Saturday night was full of young people and international glitterati. Nevertheless, the service was attentive, friendly and prompt. We started our meal with a terrine of foie gras with thin layers of very dark chocolate, served with warm brioche - an innovative and delicious combination. To follow I ordered lobster which was supposed to be prepared with hot chili, oilive oil and lemon juice. The oil was certainly present, but there was no trace of the chili. We finished our meal with an acceptable café gourmand. On the drinks front, as an aperitif we chose the house champagne aperitif which was delicious. For the wine, we chose a white Limoux which we know well but on tasting this particular bottle, we found it lacking in the characteristics that we normally find in this wine. The waiter did not hesitate to bring another bottle from the same producer (without consulting us) which also proved disappointing. Both of these wines were around EUR 50. In the end we chose a white burgundy. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for the decor, the atmosphere, excellent service and reasonably good food, but tread carefully through the wine list!

One of my favorite restaurants in Brussels is Belga Queen. Great food and service. If you want to indulge, get one of the fabulous seafood platters. A tip to have a cheap meal at Belga Queen: do the business lunch monday to friday. You get a prix fix menu with very nice choices. The last time I went it was 18 EUR.

Nice deco. Cocktail choices are quite limited for a trendy place like this. Small number of them are innovative. Tried the Between the Sheets and Miss Little Sunshine. Both are way too sweet. It's like eating a dessert in a glass. Services were below par. Waited for a long time to get attention after my first glass was finished. Shouldnt they try to make sure customers' glasses are never empty to maximise profit?
