“Expensive but nice atmosphere and good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

We made a reservation and they only had room for us in what they described as the room at the back. This however turned out to be pretty much just the same as sitting anywhere else in the restaurant and suited us just fine.
The menu had a nice selection and the sea bass was delicious.
A lovely atmosphere and a classy establishment.
Fairly expensive but an area of Brussels where one expects high prices.
Good idea to book.

“My favorite restaurant by far”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

We visited this restaurant late in the evening and weren't able to partake of many menu items. This, however, did not take away from the fact that even the appetizers and salad were amazing. Unfortunately, I was leaving the next day, but will definitely return.

“Unpleasant experience”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2012

Perfectly situated, recommended by Michelin, but the "frites" tasted old fat, the shrimps were nicely decorated, but not very numerous and in addition the wine by the centimeter was very largely unfavorably measured for the guest. Will not return to this place

“Mixed experience, but very good overall”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2012

We visited on a Sunday night after 9pm and the restaurant was so full there were people eating at the bar. So I guess they must be doing something right! I went for the braised seabass with olives and watercress puree, which was very well cooked and presented. My wife chose the chicken supreme and found the chicken too dry and the risotto lacking in salt. Wine was very good, as were the starters and dessert. So a mixed experience overall, but certainly good enough to entice us back on our next visit.

“No chef in the kitchen?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

Wine per glass/ @ €10 : glass half filled and chunks of sediment at the bottom ... the Bordeaux was excellent, I'd have enjoyed a full ration.

Scampi w/risotto ... zero salt, scampi floury (frozen?) zero taste poor texture.

Couteaux : frozen rubbery, w/estragn sauce, bad idea to mix, doesn't go

Carré d'agneau, gravy in boat on plate looked and tasted like dish water, no salt. ratatouille, acid, uninteresting.

Crème brulée tepid (hygiene salmonella issues?)

Serious gut ache ensued a couple of hours after the meal!!!

I'd been a couple of times before and ate well. Apparently they've got cook problems in the kitchen ... admitted the manager when pressed!!!

Bad idea to go unless they can assure you the issue has been sorted!
