I stayed for just one night whilst on a business trip. I had previously stayed at a Motel One in Edinburgh and found it to be modern, clean and good service. I had left my booking late in this case and Motel One in Brussels was definitely the best value available at short notice.

The hotel only opened the previous week, but it looked good. Overall a pretty good standard. The staff were obviously still being trained, as check in took quite a while.

In my room though I found that wifi did not extend that far and the tv didn't work. I reported this and they explained that they were still experiencing some issues since opening and they would have a technician have a look - no result unfortunately. I'm pretty forgiving, but the wifi needs to be sorted in the rooms. Being on business this was quite frustrating and meant I had to rely on data roaming at extra cost to myself. I should note though that wifi in the lobby worked fine and I did work from there in the morning.

Otherwise the breakfast was good and the staff are friendly and professional. Would rate higher, apart from my wifi issues.

Room Tip: Request a room at the front of the hotel. The wifi and mobile signal strength at the back is poor/non existent.

Hotel (Motel) One a new nice 3* hotel in a very cool area in Brussels. What can you expect, good service, nice, small, clean and good designed rooms. This hotel is perfect for a weekend trip to Brussels, by car you can park your car around the corner for €12,50 24 hours and walk to the restaurants, shops, the clubs and so on. Enjoy Brussels and stay over in this hotel, which gives you all you need for the best value! The pillows are a bit soft, but I am sure if you ask the staff for an extra pillow it will be no problem. Wifi is fast and free. So Motel One worth your money!

Hotel One opened its doors in the week before we got there. Not 100% up and running yet, but the staff is doing all they can and eberyone is very friendly and helpfull. The location is excellent for a city trip or a cultural visit. Rooms are kinda small, but for a 3* hotel its absolutely the best value for money in expensive Brussels. And because everything is new, the place looks great and everything works :-)
Pillows are on the soft side, but I guess you can ask for a second one (we were too tired to ask).
Wifi is fast and easy, parking is just around the corner and a bargain compared to other parkings in the city. We didn't try the breakfast, as we have a favorite breakfast place in Brussels where we always go when we're there. If you want to stay in Brussels for one of a couple of nights and all you need is a clean place to sleep, a good shower and a friendly atmosphere, Motel One is the place to be.
