“Best bar I've ever been to, hands down.”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

I was here in 2009 whilst visiting my sister in Lieden. We took a train into Brussels to meetup with a friend and he brought us to Delirium. It's 3 stories. The bottom level is a cask room and the other levels were bars with over 2000 beers available, the beer list was literally a 1" binder.

We drank a couple Delirium Trappist beers which were on-tap and I have not been able to find in the states. We laughed the entire way back to Amsterdam, on a "silent" train. I'll never forget it.

“Good beer, good vibe, worth a stop in”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Looking for a place to try some Belgian beers? Stop in here while in Brussels. They have great options and a great setup. Try the basement or head upstairs. Lots of people, lots of beer and a good time.

“Perfect place for a special beer!”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

If you enjoy drinking beer, then of course, Delirium Cafe is a must-visit in Brussels. Located at the city center just a few blocks away from Grand Place, its a very old-fashioned yet hip kinda bar. It has 3 different floors where all kinds of music is played, but personally I liked the bottom floor best. Their beer-inspired decoration is one of a kind and it makes it very special.

I tried their house beer, named just like the bar itself, and really liked it.!

“Be careful of pickpockets”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

A rather eccentric neighbourhood in Brussels, with a lot of cafes, restaurants, pubs with special belgian beers and soooo... much people. Be aware of pickpockets that are everywhere and do their jobs very quickly.

“Beer Heaven . . . . (hic!)”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

There are three Delirium palaces of booze; Beer, Vodka and Tequila. All beside each other in a tiny backstreet north of Grand Place. Each one has too many examples of their specialty!
The beer cafe can get 'lively' but that's what you come for, isn't it? Lots (27) of draught beer at the bar and a good many chairs and tables to sit at in the ground floor bar. Downstairs is more open plan.
We ended our night here with what I thought would be a 'light' lambic beer (fruit-flavoured). Turns out the one we had was 8.4% - not light at all. Welcome to Brussels!
