Something is up in this neighbourhood when we had to buzz our hotel reception each time to gain access into the lobby. Definitely not the polished touristy area like the Grand Place.
With limited dining options around Bruxelles Midi, we decided to have dinner at this local Greek restaurant on the recommendation of the earlier reviews and we must say we are very pleased we did. The gentleman serving us was very polite and attentive and seems to enjoy what he does. There isn't a proper menu for the main courses and we were invited into the kitchen where the chef guided us on how to select from a range of dishes from the warmer.
The baked fish, stuffed eggplant and capsicum were delicious as were the vegetable sides. We love Greek food and this is good value for the quality.

This restaurant was recommended by our B&B for a lunch time stop, It's located near to Midi station in an area full of ethnic eateries, including african and spanish restaurants.
We both had the lamb shoulder with mixed vegetables and some rice. Great flavours and huge portions. Just about had room for a plate of mixed pastries for dessert. There is a large ethnic supermarket/wholesalers nearby, where we browsed for 30mins or so, purchasing some items we find it difficult to get hold of in UK

This restaurant dates since the 60ies and is great fun to go with friends. The food is good and you go into the kitchen to make your selection of many different daily offerings. We usually start with some fried calamares, some tarama ant tsatsiki with a glass of ouzo.
Then onto the main course with some retsina, followed by baclava and coffee. You will spend less than 25 Euros per person and feel you were at someones home.
Very friendly service and clean washrooms.
We go there regularly and have never been disappointed.

situated on a street with a lot of greek restaurants, i chose this one because the waiter was very friendly. the food was ok, a lot to choose from, prices around 8-12E for a plate with a lot of food and a big variety. still this is more like a fast food restaurant, nothing in common with the belgian food "atmosphere" you can feel on most of brussel's streets
