I remember this restaurant that for years(too many;-)) was called "Au Chaudron D'or".No after a full renavation, new owners and chefs, this is a very good place to get some lunch foe an affordable price. In the summer take the lunch outside (taste the same as inside !!) and enjoy your meal with that little fresh white wine with your friends or family.
Worth going.

The main point in favor of this restaurant is their very cheap two course lunch menu (13.50€). The three course menu at 33€ is a whole lot less affordable. But the food is good, if not exceptional. I had an almost tasteless salmon carpaccio, a correct plate of grilled tuna pieces with sesame seed on an excellent salad of herbs and spices, and a very good banana bombe glacée. Good wine too, and when we wanted to finish the meal with a last glass of wine and asked the head waiter to recommend something, he came with an excellent one and left us the bottle to finish. Service is friendly, and the interior is very attractive - the terrace a whole lot less so. In short, worthwile if you're in the neighborhood, but not really worth the trip.

Allthough the restaurant only openend after summer 2012 it already daily attracts a full occupancy as I witnessed last wednesday. For its price of only €33, the daily menu (3 components) is absolutely tastefull. So surprise yourself or take a guest with you. The wine card is limited, but anyone can find his favourites. Not to be neglected, all the personnel speaks also dutch, so there is no need to adress the waiters in french, which is already an exception in Brussels.
Two tips...
1. Dont' be late as the parking space is quite limited
2. if you still have to return to work, then ask for quick service..
A thing I want to try in summer, the terrace looks very nice .. now still the right weather....

I didn't expect this restaurant to be so good, even if I heard so many good things about it. Now it is my favorite restaurant in the area!
