“Yummy tapas!”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

Quiet, pleasant little tapas place. Good tapas and good value. We ordered the patatas bravas, ham croquettes, tortilla and chorizo and four tapas was enough for two not extremely hungry people.

“Lovely spot on a summer's evening”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

If you're in Brussels on a summer eve and are looking to sit outside in the sun, enjoy some tasty tapas and a glass of wine or beer for a reasonable price you could do worse than here.
This restaurant is just beside another tapas bar with the other maybe looking a bit better from the outside.
Actually, I preferred the food here, thought it was more authentic and had a lovely evening.

“Friends of Aragón and Spain eat very well here….”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

Maybe I should declare an interest. My wife is from Aragón and is the former President of the Association of Friends of Aragón in Brussels. But that was a very long time ago…;-)

I have often written that Spanish food doesn’t travel well abroad. But here is another of those rare exceptions. The tapas are really good: as starters we had patatas bravas, Russian salad, chorizo in a cider sauce and mixed vegetables with honey. In fact the menu has 3 pages of tapas, plus special tapas menus from 15.20 to 25.70 euro per person.

For the main course two of us shared a dish of thin delicate Aragonese lamb chops on a bed
of poor person’s potatoes (thinly sliced potatoes fried in olive oil). And two others had a ‘paella mixta’ (with meat & shellfish) which was not very Aragonese, but from next door Valencia and still absolutely delicious.

We drank a bottle of the most expensive wine on then menu: Corona d’Aragon 2009 @ 20.60 euro. This was a leisurely Spanish Sunday lunch. We arrived at around 14.00 and left almost three hours later very satisfied with the food and the friendly service….

Total for four: 128 euro (tapas, main courses, desserts, wine, coffees with a touch of coñac….)
