Description: Targeted at gourmets and those interested to food quality Lasagna Tiramisu is a "fast slow-food”, where everything is home-made with fresh, seasonal and, when possible, organic ingredients, with a special attention to the environment: recyclable or compostable packaging and disposables. The idea is few things well made, and indeed of the 100+ lasagne as many tiramisu everyday only a handful is prepared. Add a couple of daily salads and a cold cut meat and cheese plate with the bust products Italy can offer and you end up with a 10-13 items menu, which allows us to offer very high quality and very quick service. Same philosophy for the wines, all from small Italian wine makers that you can enjoy at the table but also buy off shelf. Together with some of the best delicacies that Italy can offer: truffle sauces, Sicilian marmalades, Extra-virgin olive oil.

“Incredible Dinner”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

If you like Italian food this little restaurant is an absolute must in Brussels.

I bumped into their food truck in the Marche Gourmand du Sablon, the food market that is held every Thursday in the wonderful Sablon district and absolutely fell in love with their products. Talking to the lovely owners they told me that they had a restaurant a stone’s throw away from the European commission and I decided to book right there and then a table for two for dinner that evening. They do not do typical Italian restaurant food, you won’t find pizza here: their focus is on lasagna and tiramisu, as the name would suggest, and I was astounded as to how versatile these classic Italian dishes could be. The lasagna’s that they had at the moment were truffle lasagna, wild boar and chocolate and sausage with turnip tops, I have a particular weakness for anything with truffle so I opted for that one and was immediately transported to heaven. Then came the daunting task of choosing my tiramisu and I could have chosen from Hazelnut, Pistacchio, limoncello, orange and Cointreau. I went with the classic Pistacchio and was in absolute delight.
The lasagna and tiramisu vary depending on the season and what they owners find that is fresh to deliver the absolute highest quality possible.
The staff speak a multitude of languages, a reminder perhaps of the varied clientele that you get in Brussels, especially being so close to the European commission. The atmosphere is lovely and I look forward to coming back on a lovely spring day so that I can sit on the tables they have set up outside and enjoy some of the incredible coffees they offer.

One of the best restaurant in Brussels, and they also do take away and delivery!

“A jewel in the European area”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

Situated at the heart of the EU area in Brussels, just a few steps away from the Commission's headquarters, this tiny tiny place offers a wonderful lunch experiences.
Not for dinner - closes at 18h.
1st floor is for having a coffee and take a look at the wonderful Italian specialties that you can buy there.
2nd floor is just a little bit bigger with several tables.
Menu is usually for the day - a very short list of lasagnas and antipasti, maybe pizza.
Desserts are heavenly, as you can imagine from the name, tiramisu - home-made, several types...

“Great food & excellent coffee”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

Really lovely place, the owners are terribly friendly, speak a multitude of languages and are passionate about their food and drinks. They offer amazing Ethiopian coffees, wonderful variations (when I was there they had 5 on offer) of Tiramisu and lovely Lasagna as well as salads. For the Schuman area, the prices were also reasonable.

Very highly recommended!

“Mastering the simple”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

The best lasagne and tiramisu I've tried in years! The concept is very simple: there are 4 lasagnes and tiramisus to choose from. The type of lasagne changes per day. The quality of the food - it's home made pasta, you can definitely taste it! - and the wine is high, and the flavours were perfectly balanced. The size of the portions are okay. If you are very hungry you will probably not be satisfied, but at least you will always have some space left for dessert. I recommend the hazelnut tiramisu. The restaurant itself looks nice. However, it lacks a bit of a restaurant atmosphere as it is more visited for lunch. If you fancy going for dinner, there's good news: they recently changed their opening hours and are open in the evenings as well.

“Authentic tastes but somewhat pricey”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

Great variations of lasagna and tiramisu. Lasagna range from 12.50-15 euro and tiramisu around 5 euro. Beautiful decor, great service. Lunch reservations advised (2 seatings,at 12h15 and at 13h15). Admittedly, the portion of lasagna could have been slightly bigger , given the price. But still, great lunch!
