Much more modern than nearly all the hotels in Brussels.
Friendly and efficient staff.
Classy and modern interior.
Beds were amazing and the rooms were large and well designed.
Breakfast was better than most city hotels.
Pretty central.

Was in Brussels for a meeting and only stayed for one night on 10th Jun, this is a very new hotel meaning very clean! The décor is really chic and modern (love the wall paper!!) with very high ceiling which make you feel very spacious although the room is really not that big but more than good enough. Big comfy bed which is hard to find in a small hotel. The mini bar is FOC (maybe only in my package) which was a good surprise as they have a nice range of snacks and drinks which was handy at night time. he bath room is separate from the toilet and there is no bath tub, maybe only standard room is like this. There are no restaurants in the hotel but a bar/café on the ground floor for breakfast and drinks which is normal for a boutique hotel. Must mention Comme Chez Sol is just on your left when you walk out the hotel which I think it’s one of the first Michelin 3 stars restaurant in Brussels, which of course is a must try, but they are closed on Monday so I did not have a chance to go there this trip. =( It is walkable from midi station to the hotel but I suggest you to take a shuttle or cab, the location is not a danger area but it does not reflex the nice part of Brussels unfortunately, however you can easily walk to Grand Place and Sablon in about 10 mins. Santon Hotle Pillows Brussels is a good hotel for solo or coupe travelers, I much prefer to stay here than Le Meridien or Novotel in the center, this little place has more character, clean, feel more private and comfy, I will stay here again in my future trips in Brussels.

The titel says it all, this was a perfect stay. Really lovely room and the breakfast buffet was all one could ask for. Just a 10 minute walk tot the centre and for a mere € 6,50 you can get a taxi to brussels central station.
The bed was really really good, as was the walk-in shower. The lady at the reception was very friendly as well.

Fantastic location, just out of the hubbub of the town centre but close enough to walk to Grand Place in less than 15 minutes. Very comfortable beds with spacious, clean rooms. The location was quiet, we were in a room at the front of the hotel and didn't find that we heard a lot of traffic/people noise.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner suite if you can, large and bright!

Hotel Sandton Pillows is completely new, the design of the interiour is very nice and tasteful. The bathroom is clean and new, which is hard to find in Brussels. The staff is nice. You need 10 minutes to the Grand Place and about the same to the Midi Train Station (also Shuttle to Charleroi-airport ), and about 5 minutes to the beautiful Sablon. The small square Rouppe is developing and becoming a very nice place with good atmoshpere - some hotels, some nice bars and a noble restaurant next door. When you walk away from the square you might feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I think the Sandton chain has decided for this location very strategically, because the area is developing, but the problem of this hotel is, that they still don't have a clear picture of who their guests are. Very rich tourists will not stay in this area, they will also miss a SPA and fitness ... so maybe it would be nice to adjust the price of the breakfast (now 20 EUR!) to the normal guests that are actually coming. - There are some things missing in this hotel like a tea kettle in every room (they friendly brought one after I asked, but they had to bring it from the other Sandton hotel in BXL) and a bathroom waste bin.

Me and my husband stayed here a long weekend to do Brussels. Perfect, calm location but still very central. Only a short walk to Grand Place, the fun area behind the Bourse and the Marolles antiques district. The rooms are clean, the bed was good and one could see that they had put great effort at creating the right ambiance in the hotel. Modern and fresh, but not pretentious. Really friendly staff and a really good breakfast with hot and cold dishes - eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, all kinds of cheeses, hams and jams. Nice bread of all sorts, pain au chocolat, croissants, juices, fresh fruit, yogurts - you name it. So even a gluten intolerant person like me could find plenty to eat for breakfast. Will definitely stay here again if in Brussels.

We arrived at the hotel on 31 May and were initially alarmed by the surrounding area, towards the train station, which is a little unsavoury. However, thankfully the area improves on arrival at the hotel.

The hotel itself was virtually infallible. The communal areas are tastefully doctorated and there is a somewhat opulent feeling to the bar and reception area. The room itself continued this. Whilst it was not as spacious as some other hotels, there was plenty of room, a very large and reasonably comfortable bed and an upmarket shower room.

All in all our stay was pleasurable and we found ourselves looking forward to returning there after an exhausting day exploring the city. The bar was a great place to relax before or after venturing out. Drinks are served with complimentary snacks.

Highly recommended.
