My wife and I spent a few days in Brussels just before Christmas and selected this hotel because of its location - and on that score I can't fault it. The hotel is across the road from the Bourse where the traditional Christmas market is located and only a block away from the market square. Notwithstanding the heavy snow that fell every day when we were there, we were able to walk to all the main sites with ease (Brussels park, the palaces, fine art museum, Manneken Pis, Cathedral, Sablon garden, etc) and the main shopping street (Neuwe) is minutes away. The hotle itself is comfortable but nothing extraordinary. We had a suite on the 5th floor and used the executive lounge extensively for breakfast, afternoon tea, evening drinks and snacks (the snacks easily made up for supper on the nights we chose not to go out). Our room was very comfortable and spacious with all the usual ameneties. Our only gripe was the noise from party revellers in the street outside in the early hours of the morning - I'd have expected better soundproofing (we were quietly told by a staff member that the rooms not facing the street are generally preferred by the regulars). The staff were charming and very helpful. We found the housekeeping staff a little slow in making up our room (when its was minus very cold and snowing we liked to be back at the hotel by about 2pm to relax for a few hours and twice found our room had not yet been made up). All in all a good choice for us and we we very happy staying there.

We just returned from a great stay at the Brussels Marriott. The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel at home immediately. we were upgraded to the executive floor so we were able to get access to a very generous morning and evening food/beverage service. The hotel is literally steps from the Grand Plaza and the main Christmas Market. The hotel is on a main drag and both hop on and off bus companies stop right outside. rooms are modern and recently redone with new fixtures. in room safes, mini bars, a fair amount of tv stations etc. the usual lack of outlets is something that reminds me i'm in Europe and is not unique to this hotel. Bedding is first rate as are the towels... sorry we just never took photos in the room this trip as you would not have been disappointed. We definitely recommend this hotel. Great friendly staff really set it apart.

In the Marriott tradition, this was a fabulous hotel. Price cannot be beat for Brussels. The hotel staff was more than accomodating from the time we arrived until our departure. Make sure you book a room with breakfast included .... truly a fantastic breakfast that will carry you thru the day to avoid the high prices of lunch. This hotel is in the center of everything. You can walk everywhere. Really! Ask the concierge for recommendations for restaurants and they won't steer you wrong. We ate at the best places on their recommendations. Which actually matched with Trip Advisor's recommendations.

Despite being in a great tourist location this hotel is wonderfully priced, super clean and the staff are super friendly – one could almost believe that it wasn’t in Belgium. The rooms are pleasantly sized, the bedding of high quality and the breakfast is outstanding – even for Belgium. There is also a well maintained work out room with bikes, treadmills, weights and a few machines – which is more than adequate. The lobby bar is also pleasant and does a nice range of snacks.

Travelled via Eurostar for 3 night stay at this hotel. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Nice selection at breakfast and chef on hand to cook whatever you asked for with good humour and aplomb. Recommend his spanish omelette ! Staff on front desk helpful and knowledgable. Would definitely return. One minor point. In the middle of very cold spell the room could have been warmer.

Stayed here over a weekend with 2 friends. Hotel was convenient for Brussels Central and the Grand'Place, and also for the Christmas Market, which was only just round the corner.

There was an unfortunate mix-up with our room, as the hotel was supposed to have installed a third bed in the room, but still hadn't done so by the time we returned to the hotel at quarter to midnight. This was solved quickly and efficiently by transferring us to another room opposite, but it left an impression of inefficiency.

Bear in mind that you'll be disappointed if looking for free wifi - it's not cheap and we didn't use it because of this. I wonder why some hotels of a similar size can offer free wifi and others charge so much?

The breakfast was superb, as Marriott breakfasts usually are.

Apart from the room mix-up, no problems. Staff were happy to look after our luggage after we'd checked out.

We stayed at the Marriott from Nov. 25 to Nov. 29. We were there just in time for the Christmas market. We couldn't have asked for a better location. You are right across the street from the Stock Exchange. The Christmas market was a block away and the Grand Place was about 2 blocks away. If you can go during the Holiday time, it is well worth it. I would also suggest getting out to Brugge. It was beautiful. The hotel was great. The staff was great and the service was fantastic. They had a nice bar/lounge you could get a drink at and the breakfast buffet was very good. We didn't get to have dinner at the hotel but the menu looked good. You have to pay for Wi-fi. But if you are casually trying to get online, the McDonalds next door and the Irish pub across the street offer free wi-fi. O'reilley's (across the street) was a great place to eat as well. As far as sleeping, it is in a busy city so we did hear some sirens, but what can you do. You can't beat the location. Also the metro is right there as well. So you can take the train to the metro and get right to the hotel.
