A fabulous museum of miliitary history and for sure Belgium has a lot of that. Some bits are able to be personally experienced such as sticking your head in and having a look or being invited by some of the staff to get a bit closer and perhaps a brief story or two.

All in all, one can get lost here for hours easy. Very informative and to be sure some displays have no added information whist others are in Vlaams or French all the same, very good.

Be sure to stop by the top for the views as well. The cafe is nice but not remarkable other than a great stop along the way.

No cost to enter and good parking as well.

The museum is huge, and there is no entrance fee. It's a wonderful way of learning a little bit about historical warfare. But it would be nice to see a few more words of explanation here and there. Or maybe I missed a flyer or booklet with that information on there :) Anyway, definitely worthwhile a visit.

There is many interesting halls inside of this museum, many interesting things to see - the military historical artefacts, swords, uniforms, aircrafts etc. We visited the upper view terrace with the nice view over the Brussels city. The acces to this museum and to terrace is completely without the fee.

Have been to the museum a couple of times and am quite impressed. The collection stored here is very good and well set out. I would advise that you wrap up warm when looking at the aircraft because the hanger they are stored in is cold. Also it closes for lunch so access is very restricted but there is a good café on sight where you can enjoy a drink and something to eat whilst waiting for the museum to re-open.
