If you like Art Deco then you will not regret your trip here. When we visited on a Saturday in February we had the place almost to ourselves. The gardens are being refurbished but even in February there is something for the garden lover to admire. Despite the fact that it is off the usual tourist map it is very easy to access either by pre-metro to Churchill and a short stroll or tram 92 to Vanderkindere and a longer walk. Well worth walking round the area too to admire the mix of modern and old grand houses.

a great pleasure to discover this house and its garden from the middle of Twentieth Century, with a fabulous series of paintings from dark-age and contemporary period. The garden presents artists as guests. thanks to "Chez Dominique" to have advised me to visit this fabulous place -take the tram 92 and 5 minutes walk-

We visited in Jnauary so the garden was not at its best but still very enjoyable. The house is a must see if you like art deco. You really do get the feelling of a place that was lived in and it really is an outstanding example of art deco interior design. Very friendly reception and a very helful guide available in English to explain each room.

The museum is well known for its garden. There you will have a pause in this charming and authentic neighbourhood of uptown Brussels. And you will enjoy the quietness and the beauty of this art deco house and garden.

It is not a well-known museum and a bit outside the city centre. But you can visit it easily with public transport. Tram 3 from the city centre, stop Churchill, is about a 100 meters from the museum. And if you have time, you can have a walk in the surrounding streets and admire the beautiful mansions and houses in this posh part of Brussels.

The lovely garden is really worth visiting in any season. It is a large garden for a city garden, about 1,2 hectare. It has a rose garden, labyrinth, an orchard, exotic trees, borders, a big lawn and a pergola among others.

The beautiful art deco interior ot the house is exactly how it was when the owners still lived here. It still has the atmosphere of time gone by. A pity that you can’t visit many rooms, but what you can see is very lovely. And every window gives you a nice view of the garden.
Inside the house you are not allowed to take picture and you have to wear plastic covers over your shoes.
Leaflets with information are available in English, French and Dutch.
