Belgium is one nation which has resolutely preserved its traditional beers and the Cantillon lambics and geuze are some of the most interesting. Yes, they are challenging and not to every taste. On the other hand, they exist because they have a market and no beer style should be exterminated when it has a following - particularly in a world where brewing giants methodically pulverize any upstarts who don't hew to the "fake pils" habit.

Very informative and a must to discover the true side of brussels. The beer done here is uncommon but extremely authantic and must be tasted if ine stay in the city. The personnel of the brewery are very welcoming and warm.

Whilst you are here see the Cantillon Brewery: the aloof entrance may put you off but once you open the huge door it's a bustling, functioning, informative, authentic and warm brewery. The staff are very knowledgable and you had a self guided tour with a very informative booklet and two samples for just €6! When you first pay you also get a great deal of information from the man at the desk. So happy we squeezed this in before jumping on the Eurostar!

I was never a knowledgable beer drinker. But then I went on this tour. Dear God, it was beautiful. It was like seeing Beer Heaven. Yes, it isn't a guided tour. But I think that added to the experience. You were on a solo journey...a quest if I may.

The following beer samples were great, but the 2 euro glasses after and the 5 euro 75 ml bottles were even better.

Don't be put off by the location. You will enjoy it.

If you have beer as an intrest you shouldn't miss the opportunity to visit this authentic and traditional brewery. Interesting and different from all other beer tours.
