I appreciate cathedrals for their magnificent columns, arches and most importantly, stained-glass windows. This cathedral had all of the above. From the outside, it is beautiful as the sunlight gives the stone cathedral a yellow-tint.
However, this is nothing compared to the famous cathedral in Ghent.
Further, the 1 euro entry into the crypt felt like a scam, which is upsetting. The crypt was nothing more than a hardly sufficient display of some sketches and stone. It was puzzling to realise that the crypt containing nothing of interest to visitors... Don't pay that 1 euro.
Other than that, the cathedral is exactly what you'd expect a cathedral to be. Dedicated to Christ and possessing wonderful stained-glass.
