We arrived there at 1.15 for lunch on a Monday, which seemed to be a bit late as a lot of the dishes were over. The menu is written on a blackboard on the wall. We had made a reservation, but there were a few tables free where we were seated. (We were seated in the room as you enter ) Could not see into the room at rear.We both had pasta - mine was tagliatelle with wonderful fresh Porcini mushrooms- my husband had the penne with veggies. His pasta was almost too al dente, and he likes it fairly al dente. He did say that it was not as good the second time around.- we chose it as it was near to where he had a meeting in the European quarter.Service was efficient and friendly. On the expensive side- about 22-25 euro for pasta, glass of house wine was around 6-7 euro. A good trattoria

As only Italians seems to be able to do, this restaurant offers very fresh tasty food in a no-nonsense style. What you see is what you get. But you get it in the best possible way.

This restaurant caters to the eurocrat lunch crowd and is a bit pricey, but unlike so many Italian restaurants in the European quarter the quality is consistently high. The restaurant is cozy, not to say cramped, and the service warm and friendly.

As this restaurant is in the neighbourhood of many offices it is a lunch hide-out pur sang, and even though the kitchen will provide an above avarage meal, somehow my experience has tought me each visit leaves you with a bad after taste. The prices are high, but one would be eager to pay this if ever the service was as good as their food. The snobism already starts when you stroll in without a reservation, you are told around 5 times how lucky you are they have a table free, when you DO make a reservation they might not have a table. Food orders get lost the way to the kitchen making you wait 45 minutes for your food on your lunch break..... Please do come here if you do not mind being treated according to how the restaurant staff feels like at that moment, inconsistently! I'll be enouraging whomever I know to walk another block for lunch.

I am a regular at this place where I often go with my colleagues. The pasta is very good, although the menu does not change very often so once you were there a couple of times it becomes always the same. It is quite expensive for lunch (pasta for 16-25 eur) and may be a bit crowded. So if you want a calm lunch, it may not be the right place.
