situated next to Heysel tram and metro stations and national football stadium with easy access from city centre this attraction is ideal to spend a couple of hours at cost of 13.80 euros per adult(group discounts available)
there is a dedicated walking route which takes you through all eu member countries-with scale models of their major buildings and information signs on each country-you can press a button and also listen to national anthems.
there is also many working models of trains, planes etc along route and at end is an educational area and childrens activities as well as shop and cafe.

I was under the impression Mini-Europe was basically a mini version of europe as on a map and you could walk around and learn more about the countries in the european union.

I was dissapointed to find that it only boasts a few landmarks from each country and some only had one, in italy there was no collisium or vatican and a very poor excuse for mount vesivius. Britain showed only the dover ferry, and houses of parliament. Most of the models were of Belgian landmarks while everythig else over looked.

It wasn't buzzing with people although the weather wasn't great.

A dissapointment at 13 euros per person...

It is an interesting walk through Europe. The information cards had some good facts about the different areas of Europe being displayed. MUCH better than the Atomium, which is just a short walk away.

What an interesting and fun place. Should be high on the list of places to visit in Brussels. Great for families, but so interesting. Allow at least half a day to enjoy. The fine detail in the architectural models was fascinating.
Visit at the same time as the Atomium.

as i wasn't impressed by the atomium didn't expect much from this attraction also, but it was really an experience, fun and interesting, took a lot of photos. you can consider this an open air museum:).

if you plan a visit to this part of brussels you should not miss the mini-europe
