“'Da Vinci - The Genius' A Brilliant Exhibit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 8, 2013

Every once an awhile, an exhibit comes along that sweeps you off your feet. Sometimes it's the beauty of the art. Other times it's what an artist saw that few others have seen. It can be the creativity he or she exhibits.

And then there are those exhibits that display an artist's brilliance. Leonardo da Vinci was an artist and inventor who featured all of these and then some. The exhibit of his works at the Brussels Stock Exchange is a must see for anyone interested in art, engineering, medicine and getting a look into an inventor's mind.

We had many highlights on our recent trip to Brussels but this exhibit was likely THE highlight. We both left the exhibit feeling energized by his creativity and passion. And for how so many things that this man did that changed the world.

Take the 90 minutes to two-hours it takes to see this exhibit and feel reinvigorated. It runs until September 1.

“Don't miss the Da Vinci Exhibition”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2013

This is a wonderful exhibition in a wonderful building. The exhibition really is a fascinating insight into the work of Da Vinci. Many of his ideas are brought to life by the models on display. It's cheaper on a Monday so if you're visiting why not make a long weekend of it and visit before your flight home. You will need a good 2 hours to see the museum properly. If travelling with children under 5 I think they go free with one adult.

“surprisingly good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

Hadn't planned to go, but we saw it and thought we would give it a try. It was very well laid out I thought. Lots of information on boards, two cinema stands - one standing and another sitting - they looped in different languages - the cinema had english subtitles and didn't seem to match the timetable at all. It was interestingly to see and photos, exhibits and statues brought it all to life. You were able to get very close to some of the statues. 22 euro for an adult and child and spent a good couple of hours there reading everything. Beautiful building to exhibit in. Feel I have experienced something very historical I may never get to see again - an 1/8th of the 8th wonder in the world??

“Worth a visit”

If you wanted to know more about the Terracotta Army then get yourself along to this very good exhibit.
It is all laid out well in the beautiful old building, and the show is in three languages.

A visit to this temporary exposition is well worth it. Well laid out, a "live" show, a film and very good narrative on every exhibit. I was inspired and now want to go to Chìna to see the other 9,900!!
