The painted murals of Tintin and related charecters is a very cute and clever way to link this interesting nook of international culture to its birthplace, Belgium. It is nice to walk around and be surprised by these well done paintings.

Cute to see, but not much to do except snap a pic and move on. Right off grand place so chances are you will cross its path.

Brussels is famous for TinTin and everything else cartoon and comic book like.

Every street corner, every side of building, roofs, pavements, metro stations, the city is a living comic book. In a really tasteful way, the city breaths humour of the man made concrete and breathes art from it.

Look up and be prepared to see wall and street art in the most unusual and obscure places. On grey, wet and cold days, walking around the city can be a joy by the realisation that is given over to living comic books whether it be TinTin or other comic strips.

Get yourself a guide map, or book, for the best and most unusual works of art. If this is your type of thing, you could easily spend a whole day just walking around looking at it all - of course, broken up by beer and coffee stops!
