Having stayed 2 days at the Hotel in Brussels, I was very much impressed with the rooms and the overall experience. Being much taller than all the surroundings, you get a whole view of Brussels from your own luxurious and modern room.
Food is excellent, with lots of choice and the infrastructure and personnel are amazing.
Let's not forget the killer app: spending an hour in the 24th floor SPA with sauna giving you an amazing view on the city from the huge window: relax!

Would recommend when visiting Brussels.

As a pilot, I've been to this hotel many, many times. The Hilton chained disowned them a couple years ago, final throwing in the towel. To be fair, the hotel is making renovations slowly, but even afterwards it won't be worth the price.

Small rooms, and few amenities that you would expect from a first class hotel. Terrible television and cable channel selection. The restaurant isn't too bad, but of course it's over priced. Evidently being in a nice area of Brussels means you can charge whatever you want for subservice everything. Seriously, if you're looking for a nice place, just go stay in the Radisson nearby. A better hotel at a cheaper rate.

They staff is just terrible. I hate to say this, because several of them try, but most of them are just condescending. They over charged my credit card and it took nearly 4 months and thousands of USD charges to get it corrected. Not only condescending, but they have no idea what service is and are inept. seriously, just skip this place.

Oh, and to top it off... their before mentioned renovations could probably interrupt your sleep. It didn't bother me personally. Not as much as the small, hard beds.

Room Tip: Rooms closer to the center instead of the outer edges seemed to be better for internet reception.

Dear born2fly145,

I'm really sorry about the issues you encountered with regards to payment. I've investigated your case with my colleagues from accounting, and from what I understood the issue wasn't in our hands. My colleagues were in contact with your flight company and the communication there was very very difficult. My colleagues have send several reminders & follow-up e-mails to get things moving. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me directly via kelly.wouters@thehotel.be to discuss or to receive more details.

On first view the new rooms are very nicely done! Great hotel for the business traveller and the room reflects that - it is well laid out and has enough space to work (free wifi - which every hotel should have these days) and relax. Also, has a few nice, stylish touches (coffee table books & magazines) and a nespresso machine (absolutely love this!). I wasn't that keen on the bathroom products - they are simply ok.

The one thing that I would definitely recommend that the hotel works on is housekeeping. Although the rooms are very new (along with everything that goes in it) I think they could have been cleaner (found hair in the bed and in the towel, which is not very nice) - if not for this, I would have scored it higher.

Overall, I would stay here again as it's clear that they are making huge efforts to bring this hotel into the 21st century.

pros: The views were great and the renovated rooms were stylish and modern. good use of space. Shower head was huge and very relaxing. The sauna was great. complimentary minibar - although it wasnt a lot it was nice to have chilled water. we stayed over newyears night and were surprised by a lovely letter saying all guests had a complimentary late check out of 2pm the next day. thanks! tv greated us with personalised message. good selection of channels.

cons:The room we were staying in had a very loud wind whistle coming from the windows like is wasnt closed properly but there was nothing we could do about it. The room wasnt properly serviced before we arrived, no robes and only one pair of slippers. minibar was nearing on empty which we later found out thats how the 'complimentary minibar' is stocked.. bit of a let down.

Dear Sarah H,

Thank you for taking the time for writing a detailed review.
Of course we loved reading the pros, but the cons are also appreciated cause they allow us to improve so hopefully on your next visit you will score us with 5 stars instead of 4!

This has become my preferred hotel ( new rooms ) - exquisite interior reminding me of some of the 5 star hotels in Hong Kong and Singapore but at a fraction of the price. Apart from free wifi that actually really works, the minibar is free and you have a Nespresso machine in the room. On the 20th floor you have magnificent views and far from the traffic. It is 15 mins to the EU parliament by taxi so extremely convenient location , but also from what I remember the previous time extremely fast connection to the airport as it is next to a large artery leading out of the city.

It is my second review - I stayed here a few months ago as well but as a business guest I can only recommend this to other travel weary business travellers who have seen too many hotel rooms in the last years.

Stayed on the 21st floor: a very spacious and modern designed room. Fantastic view of Brussels. Good service and extremally well located at Boulevard Waterloo, surrounded by the most exclusive - and expensive shopping - The Hotel offer easy access to many of Brussels most fabulous sites, The Grand Place, the Sablon, the Montain of Arts, etc. A lot of good restaurants around. Good money/value choice to Brussels.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor room!

Stayed here on a business trip and what a great hotel! I stayed on the 24th floor with a great view of the city and even a telescope provided in the room. The room design is very modern and chic, spacious, and the bed was king size and very comfortable. There was a built in couch and moveable table to use as a desk for work or to eat. Loved the cool room design with whites and beiges and all the indirect lighting which made it feel more like a modern home in California instead of a typical hotel room. The shower had a rainfall option and the entire bathroom was a modern yet very functional design. Motorized "blackout" drapes made it completely dark while sleeping. The mini bar was complimentary and the complimentary Internet was very fast. They had very cool technology as well, with a mobile app that you could order anything you need on, one of those sleek super thin LED TVs, and a panel by the bed to pug in your laptop or phone into so you can watch or listen to your own videos or music on the TV as well. I ate at both the restaurant and lounge and the food was excellent and service was fast and friendly. Even the fitness center was big with new equipment and complimentary organic drinks. And you cant beat the location with all the best shopping and restaurants right next door. I've stayed in Brussels many times for business and this has to be the best hotel in the city. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel, it was a great stay and I hope to go back soon. I would recommend it to anyone!
