“Well worth a visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

Decided to take a look whilst waiting for rain to stop! However so interesting and informative stayed 3 hours and re-visited later. Gives a very informative insight into the workings of the EU - and shows where our money is being spent! Lots of interactive displays and plenty of staff on hand toanswer questions.

“Very informative for those who are part of the EU and not..”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2013

This is a free museum, put on by the EU members. Being from Canada it was very enlightening to learn how the whole process came to be and the history/changes that have occurred since it's inception. You have to go through airport security type scans to enter and backpacks, large parcels must be checked. You put down a deposit 5 Euros, and receive a key to a locker. Place your belongings in the locker and upon return of the key, the deposit is also returned. Headsets are available in multi languages so you can walk and listen at each photo/kiosk in your own language. Important for Eu memeber country citizens to understand how the whole process works. Very informative.
Free washrooms located downstairs as well as a cafeteria.

Nice, new, colourful, friendly, fresh, clean place.
Interesting to understand European Parliament in a funny way.
A nice idea for family visit or with friends.
And It is free!!! Also free international press.
BUT: please avoid the bar or restaurant: really expensive and not interesting at all.

“Great museum to learn about the EU.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2013

This is a great museum for learning about the EU. The audio guides are more like mini-computers (but don't panic - it's INCREDIBLY user friendly), and allow you to access a ton of information without having to push through crowds to read tiny plaques. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You could really spend an entire day here if you wanted to see, read, and hear everything they offer. The exhibits are all very informative and thoughtfully put together. They also have special options for kids, although I can't comment any more than that - we don't have kids. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you want to know more about how the EU government functions.
