There many positive things about the Atlas Hotel -
The location is fantastic - close walking distance to two Metro stations (St. Catherine & La Bourse), the Grand Place, as well as dozens of restaurants serving any nationality imaginable.
The price is very reasonable in an expensive city and all rooms are en-suite.
Breakfast is included in the room price. It is continental, but offers enough of a selection.
Free WiFi (which I refuse to pay for).
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A few (very minor) issues -
There is construction across the street currently and they start shockingly early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper or like to sleep late, request a room in the back of the hotel.
The mini bar isn't very cold. Granted, I'm American and we like our beverages very cold - but the fridge was room temperature. When I reported that it might not be working properly, I was told that temperature was normal. Really? I've been all over Europe and every other fridge has kept the items within cool. My solution was to put my beverages on the outside window sill and let Brussels' November weather do the cooling naturally.

However, even with the minor issues I will recommend this hotel to anyone I know travelling to Brussels.

This hotel was recommended for business, mainly due to city location and cost....It betrayed its budget style hotel very readily....Decor is tired, definitely requires a refresh.
Cleanliness I rate as poor - water marks on tiles (poorly grouted too) in bathroom and previously occupant kindly left me a worn sock, only a single one...surely the cleaner would have removed it? At least it's not a used condom. Cutlery at breakfast was not clean.
On the other hand bedding was clean and fresh. Good breakfast food. Polite reception staff - apologetic when informed about the sock.

Room Tip: away from lift shaft, but no noise from other guests

On arrival our room wasn’t ready as a large group had checked in, but another (upgraded) room was quickly found for us – a quiet room as requested, overlooking the courtyard, it also turned out to have a kitchenette so was ideal for storing bottles of water (and wine). Also had an extremely comfortable bed (ie quite firm).

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Staff at breakfast were less so, but they were busy replenishing stocks (probably because of the large groups staying there). Breakfast itself was buffet-style with plenty of choice.

The location of the hotel was great – in a quiet area, but only a short walk from the Bourse and the Grand’Place. Place St Catherine (around the corner from the hotel) is apparently known for its fish and seafood restaurants, and there’s an interesting-looking Greek restaurant opposite the hotel, but we ventured into the city centre both evenings.

Having paid €75 per night for two people bed and breakfast, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My husband goes to Brussels every month and stays here every time and it has everything he needs for a business trip: good transport links, near bars and restaurants and importantly free Wlfi.

I accompanied him on his last trip and found the hotel staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated being near to the metro, the Bourse and Grand Place.

The rooms are clean and well-furnished with everything in working order. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep.

Breakfast was continental but there was a very good choice of fresh fruit, breads, cold meats and different cheeses.

You might find a cheaper hotel but for the location, helpfulness of staff and overall quality you can't go wrong with this hotel.

We flew into Brussels with no hotel reservations. The TI gave us the recommendation for Atlas and called ahead for us. Reasonably priced for location and short notice. Mini bar (overpriced of course) very clean room VERY comfortable bed which isn't always the case in Europe. We had planned on two nights but were not thrilled with Brussels after hiking around the city. We let the front desk know we wanted to leave a day early and there was no problem.

Brussels is very expensive and to save money we walked to a nearby wine shop and deli for takeaway. For lunch we had fries and a pizza and beer at the Grand Plaza and got fleeced.

Stayed there one evening and everything was just fine. Other than having a little bit of a hard time finding it, it's a nice hotel and I would recommend it to others.

A very nice three-star hotel close to Grand-Place (ten-minute walk)and in a lively zone with shops and restaurants. Atlas Hotel has good transport connections with Gare Central (Main railway and underground staion: only two stops from the hotel). People at reception very nice and helpul. Breakfast is ok but maybe I would have expected some more variety as to cold meat and yoghurt and sometimes staff was not quick enough to replace missing food. Rooms are nice too: a big comfortable bed, a safe, modern tv,...There's no air conditioning, so you have a fan in your room to refresh yourself, of course air conditoning is much better but it is not so hot in Brussels that you'll really need it. In general I highly recommend Atlas Hotel and hope you choose it in your next trip.
