I think it's the best in Brussels

I have been to Brussels many times an always stayed at the Conrad which has changed over to the Steigenberger. I hate the new name, Conrad was nicer. They did clean up the hotel but it's still the same. Excellent location, elegant, well kept, good service (not great service), large and comfortable rooms.
I think that picking a hotel in Brussels is based on location and this one is on Avenue Louise which is excellent for shopping and business, The Hotel Amigo is the other best hotel (per the locals) and it's located in a different part of town more tourist centered.
I share in the view that a room facing the central courtyard is better and I always get that. It's quieter and the courtyard is huge and pretty.

Room tip: Inner courtyard is quieter

Excellent hotel!

+ Very nice, classic design
+ good service
+ excellent breakfast
+ great, spacious rooms and bathrooms
+ walk-in shower and bathtub
+ comfortable bed

- little space in front of the hotel when arriving

I was very pleasantly surprised with Steigenberger Grandhotel in Brussels. I am usually not a fan of classical design and prefer more contemporary hotels. However, this Hotel was definitely able to blend really well tradition with modern amenities and very good service. I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely go back!

Treat guests like royalty must be their motto

You turn into the hotel and are surrounded by old world beauty and class.. The location is near Hermes, and Cartier, need I say more? Gracious lobby, a concierge standing at his desk so you will know where to go after check in, and a glamours lobby to chat with others. Valerie Wieman was my guest relations employee. There was not one detail that she did not address. She made sure the most creature comforts were available to help me transition from my lovely home to their lovely hotel. The head of housekeeping checked on every detail when it was completed. The hotel had changed safe deposit boxes and this was the only glitch. But again the staff was kind day and night when they had to either open or close the unit. A wonderful staff, location, and large rooms with HEATED marble floors. ENJOY!

Room tip: Rooms next to the street that are low are very loud.

Excellent choice in Brussels!

The location, service and atmosphere is really excellent! i'm a client since it was called Conrad Hotel! Love your breakfast and the smell of croissant which we feel every morning from our balconies! This place is really recommended! Good Luck!

I will come back

Very good location, clean, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are quite large, including the bathroom. Walking distance from old city and other attractions. The concierge service was great - made very good suggestions on clubs, restaurants, including making reservations. I will stay again at this hotel.
