“Luxury hotel”

A 5 star hotel.This was formerly the Conrad.It is located on a high end shopping street.It is a large facility .The rooms are spacious .One down side is the wi fi is not free.Considering the top quality of the hotel it was disappointing.There is a business center with free computers.Breakfast is good with American and European cuisine .The is hotel is not in the museum district. Food and drink are over priced

The day was saved by old staff of the Conrad, but overall the hotel has a long way to go to reach the level of care and client satisfaction that Conrad could provide. No smoking rooms are made available, which is a disgrace, and adults are forced to smoke on the balcony. The quality of the food in the breakfast, and grossly overpriced, leaves a lot to be desired. I will most certainly not go back to this hotel on my next visit to Brussels.

We are very pleased to read that you enjoyed our prime location, cleanliness and most importantly the service provided. We are naturally disappointed that overall we failed short of your expectations.
As our colleague has mentioned at check-in, even though several smoking rooms are available in the hotel, these rooms were unavailable during your stay due to renovations. We are sorry that his solution of upgrading you to a Superior room with a balcony did not fully meet your needs. Along with the renovations, we are currently reviewing to enhance our food and beverage proposals, where we embrace detailed feedback from our guests to enrich this improvement process.
Should you give us another chance during your next visit to Brussels, we would be delighted to welcome you again and improve your impression of the high level of service we aspire to provide.

We often stayed at hotel Conrad over the last 20 years. We have stayed twice since it became Stiegenberger. Room servicing is more space, and the bathrooms are aging. The breakfast was average, but not up to the standard we recalled

My husband, my 3 months old son and I stayed here for 3 nights. We booked a junior suite which was on 'sale'. The room was spacious and clean. The service was ok. The only reason I probably wont book this hotel again is the ridiculously overpriced food and drinks (one bottle of 75ml still water for 13 euros!!!!).

I recently visited the stigenberger Brussels after staying at the Conrad at least 5 times per year for the past 7 years. I was shocked at how the standards have dropped since my last visit in December. These are mainly noticeable in the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms and the quality of amenities. In fact, I was initially placed in a recent
Y renovated room which I had to be moved from due to mold. I was accompanied by several colleagues from Frankfurt who were equally surprised at how far the hotel has fallen, especially given the strength of the steigenberger brand in Germany. Previously I always thought that this was THE place to stay in Brussels. Disappointingly, we are now forced to explore other options.

Easy place to stay with nice size rooms and helpful staff. Great location. Its a bit of a walk to the old main square but easy to do on a nice day. Would love to come back. Great quality toy story next door. Very lovely.

Room Tip: If you care about a street vs courtyard view talk to the hotel when booking.

lack of staff
staff not properly trained to work on a 5 star hotel especially restaurant (breakfast) and the waiters (floor) at the bar. Head barman was nice and professional tough.
Reception staff did not hide the fact that they were busy..we got it!
Many staff were nice tough especially room stewardess, maintenance, conference and tall guy with glasses and beard at the reception
conference staff was good
prices too high compared to the level of service.
you need to improve on staff training and 5 star attitude
