“Best Liege waffle in Brussels!!!”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

We've tried a number of Liege waffles in Brussels and elsewhere in Europe, but the Dandoy Tea Room's Liege waffle with caramel and a side of chantilly (whipped cream) is our absolute favorite. We've been there 4 times, and each time the taste experience is the same, i.e., phenomenal. My wife also raves about the quiche Lorraine, which she has had twice. There's an upstairs dining area that a little more comfortable than standing to eat at the "waffle counter," but I think the service is better downstairs because there are fewer customers to serve. The ONLY reason I didn't give it five stars is that there are no alcoholic beverages on the menu. No great Belgian beers, no Irish coffee...just hot chocolate, coffee/espresso, and fruit juices.

“Good but expensive”
Reviewed December 6, 2012 via mobile

Make sure you go at the second floor to enjoy one of their waffles and milkshakes. Another smaller shop is located in a pedestrian street between the Grand Place and the Bourse.

“Delicious waffles!”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

The absolute place to taste Belgian waffles ,our favorite the waffle topped with SPECULOOS ice cream , absolutely divine!! We would recommend it to anyone although a little bit more expensive than the regular waffle int tthe street , it is worth the price. A special thank to the argentinian girl part of the staff who happened to be really nice with us and our baby.
Don't miss this spot!( it is in the same street as the Manneken pis , right next to the Grande Place)

“Great biscuits and waffles”
Reviewed November 25, 2012

We tried waffles in several locations around Brussels, and Dandoy was one of the best. I also tried several of their famous cookies and biscuits, all of which were excellent accompaniments to my coffee. There is table service upstairs for a nice relaxing break between museums.
