Not much to say about this place really, and in the context of hotel reviews, that's usually a good thing.

My room was clean and spacious, reception staff were helpful, the bar had nice Belgian beers, and breakfast was good (if a little pricey). There was free wifi access.

The location is beautifully central, although the title of the hotel is a little misleading as it's not actually on the Grand Place. It is, however, very close to the Grand Place: only about a 2 minute walk away.

If you're looking for a hotel in central Brussels, I really can't think of a good reason not to stay at this one.

We looked for a hotel close to the central station, and this was even closer than we expected! Literally next to the station. It was also a stone's throw away from the Grand Place, so absolutely perfect in that sense. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and let us print our boarding passes. The only downside was the ridiculously expensive breakfast. We were too lazy to look elsewhere, though, and the selection was good.

Walked out of central station and almost tripped over the hotel.it's that close.
We were on 1st floor (2nd floor for USA people).despite this very quiet.

Buffett is crazy expensive walk across the street there are plenty of places for cheaper.

Kids slept on fold out. They were miserable.to say those were beds is a joke. Thin layer of "foam" over springs.if it had been more than 1 night we would have had to make other arrangements.

This hotel overlooks a square very near the Grand Place, where all the chocolate shops and tourists are (I have nothing against being a tourist, I would have preferred to be one, rather than being there for work). I was given a room on the top floor (5th), with views of the square and the rooftops over to the spires of the grand place. The roof does start to slope in this room, but it did not worry me. Check in was smooth, and the guy at the desk was there regularly - very helpful and friendly, even came outside to help me rent a Villo bike.

The bed was firm, pillows were synthetic, but reasonably comfortable. Free Wifi was great to have, sometimes slightly slow. There was no iron/ironing board in the room, but one came immediately upon request.

Buffet breakfast reasonably priced when added into the room rate, not if you pay for it. The buffet is ok, when all you want is a bite to eat before heading out for the day. There were waffles (not made to order), boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, cereal, a few smallgoods, fruit. Definitely try the chocolate milk - luxurious, belgian chocolate taste, make sure you mix up the sediment from the bottom. Automatic espresso machine was a little weak, but freshly ground and customisable to taste.

I would recommend it strongly for business or pleasure.

Room Tip: Great views of the square if you can get the rooms, and the windows open!

Perfect location for a city break, short stroll to the Grande Place and train station. Plenty eating places and bars in the area.

Breakfast is exactly as described, plenty to choose from with the help yourself buffet.

Room was spotless throught our stay.

Excellent location ; could not be bettered; within easy reach of major sights. A good thing, since it rained most of the time (not the hotel's fault). We did not feel comfortable around the central station at night though - not a place to be alone!
Room and sleep quality fine, hotel clean and up to usual Novotel good standards. Breakfasts good. Evening meal - choice rather restricted for a vegetarian, OK otherwise; quality fine. Service excellent, and we would like to mention Soraya for her efficient, courteous and friendly attitude.Quite expensive for what was on offer, but this is only to be expected in Brussels. Would we go there again, probably yes?

Excellent hotel; these are the only words I can use. Hotel is situated right at the Grand Place (literally overlooking parts of it). Central location makes it very convenient for business travel as well as for sightseeing and family holiday. The central station is about 3 min walking distance ... and can connect you to many other places in Brussels.
I stayed in a standard room and even that was really good. The breakfast in the morning was to my taste and very satisfying (though, expensive ... but then full american breakfast is expensive everywhere in Europe). Rooms were super clean, mini-bar well stocked, and most importantly the sleep quality was great.
Overall, I would recommend it to others and will go there myself again.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front side of hotel (overlooking square) are great.
