Just returned from a trip here and I'd definitely stay there again. We were working south of the city, so an important factor was that it was close to the train station. Well, you can't get much closer than this place, because it's practically attached around the back of the hotel! It was a 2 minute walk in the morning (if that!) and we were inside the back of Central Station (aka - covered from the weather!) for the rest of our walk. The room was reasonably large, by European hotel room standards, but nothing to write home about. The shower was nice, but the bed was a bit lumpy. Regardless, those things wouldn't stop me from staying again or recommending it to others (which I have already done). The breakfast was also great. It was included in our room rate, but if not, it may be a little on the pricey side.

The hotel is located about one street away from Grand Place, so definitely within walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc.

Close to the Central Station (5 minutes walk down a street), which is only 15 minutes by train from Brussels Airport. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the metro station, which connects to a good metro network. A return ticket 3.50 Euros.

A fairly sized room. Clean and tidy. Stayed only on night. Staff very helpful (forgot my shaving kit and they brought a replacement).

It can be a bit noisy if you are looking onto the main street. The buffet breakfast is 23 Euros! Don't know how good it is as I opted for the continental breakfast (9.90 Euros), which is a selection of croissants, pan au chocolat, danish pastries, glass of nice (squeezed) orange juice and coffee. Much better value and more than I needed, really.

Room Tip: I would avoid a room looking onto the square as it may be noisy (mine was).

Brussels is a small city in miles. So when you stay at this property you realise what a fantastic decision it is. Right in the middle of a bustling square with the grand place a hop and skip away with the mannekin statue another hop away - it's incredible. The metro is 2 mins away in case you want to go to mini Europe and the atomium. Packed with music, eateries, cafes, bars its an amazing experience. And the hotel small but clean, neat and impeccable. Our room was a suite and for a family of 4 it had massive room for movement. A must stay for location and convenience.

Room Tip: Try and get the ones overlooking the market and square.

Stayed here with some friends recently and for the location and booking two days prior, it was really quite inexpensive. We stayed in a 'family' room which meant it had a queen size bed and a couch that folded out into a bed. The couch folded out in two sections and was premade which was a nice touch. The rooms were nice and clean, updated, comfortable. The hotel is quite nice for a budget hotel. The only things holding this back from 5 stars:
- The room was noisy; we were on the 3rd floor and even late at night the street noise was like having the window open.
- The shower made a huge mess due to the way it's set up and the door closes. If you don't want to get water everywhere, you have to get in the shower, close the door and then turn it on but there's no place to stand where you wouldn't get hit with a huge initial COLD blast of water.

Finally, this isn't really a negative, just more of a head scratcher, the hotel lobby had a couple of iMac's set up for guests... and they were running Windows!!!! Seems like a pretty expensive waste of decent hardware but whatevs.

Room Tip: higher floor, maybe, so you don't have as much street noise?
