We stayed for three nights at this Hotel last weekend in time for the start of the Winter Market. Brilliantly central - only a couple of minutes walk from the Grand Place. Lovely modern hotel with all the facilities one would expect. Breakfasts were fine and the bar has a good stock of Belgian beer - what more could a chap want? Also there is a large chocolate shop next door with a large "chocolate" elephant outside - not sure if that is an advert or a warning! Plenty of restaurants in the area but avoid the streets nearest to the Grand Place where the waiters have an extremely aggressive attitude to almost forcing you in to their establishment.

Ive passed this hotel a number of times before when visiting Brussels, and having read the positive hotel reviews on here decided to give it a go on my last trip.

It was a good choice.

The hotel is situated mere seconds fromt eh Grand Place and all that it contains. It is facing a further nice little square which always seems to have something going on. Surrounduing the sdquare are various bars, cafes and eateries.

The reviews here recommended the Executive rooms as having just been revamped, so I went for one of those. It was again a great choice.

The room was modern, spacious, excellent bed gave a superb nights sleep, Modern very stylish furniture and bathroom fittings. The Belgians dont go in for very comfortable furniture, thoughm it has to be said, and the chaise longue looked the part rather than soothed the back and bottom!

The room was packed full of gear. Massive Philip[s wall mounted TV was easy to see in bed, Shame about the terrible Beligan TV programmes though! There was an ipod dock, loads of PC networking cables, mini fridge, a kettle, and a nespresso coffee maker.

They havent quite got the room drinks sorted out for us Brits though. The coffee is fine if you like it black, or with creamer powder. You get a single paper cup to last you for the day. The tea is continental, and after 3 nights I was gasping for a good cup of Tetley.

We didnt eat there, but saw lots of evidence of the catering outside of rooms for collection. It looked very average. Breakfast was 23 Euros, so we gave that a miss and went across the road to the Gauffree/Waffle house cafe where it cost us 3 euors for a great sandwich or 11 for a full "international" breakfast. There was a brisk trade in takeaway burgers from the Quick chain opposite the hotel and brought into the hotel by guests,

Staff were very good, helpful and all in all a very good hotel. Just eat in one of the plentiful eateries in the area for a better and more affordable experience.

Room Tip: Go executive, East or west sides are quieter.

I stayed with my family for one night during a short trip to Brussels. We booked over the official website. The location of the hotel is in the city center adjacent to Grand Place. It is a great location as all major sights in the city can be reached by foot. The metro station is close by and you can catch a ride to Atomium and Mini Europe. The rooms are modern and fairly big (at least ours was). We had a great view and eventhough the room looked down at one of the most frequented squares in Europe, it was not too noisy in the room. The room offers all major amenities including a Nespresso machine and a great and comfortable bed. We did not use the restaurant facilities in the hotel as there are numerous restaurants in the area. The check in and out process was fairly quick and the staff was friendly. I can only recommend this hotel and will certainly come back when in Brussels.

I had a two night stay at this hotel in October. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfact selection was fantastic! My usb blackberry charger didn't work in the room so one of the receptionists kindly lent me his. I think his name was Ricardo. Thank you Ricardo! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The potition is great, between the grand-place and the central station, also the hall is nice. But unfortunatelly they are so very kind with children (tell me how a 4-months baby could sleep on a sofa). Often the recetionists are unkind. Bthe breakfast is good, but crowed!

What can I say about this....great location right in the centre of The Grand Place Brussels. We asked for a room upgrade over internet got it....Top corner floor room, you can here a little activity outside at night but it is in waves and it is only tourists have fun, nothing to worry about... The room is very nice, clean, stylish fitting and has all "the little things" one would expect in an hotel... Only a short taxi ride from train station 10 crazy minutes in a rally taxi ha ha you'll find out !!! only around 8 to 10 Euro... The staff are very attentive, friendly and are only to happy to help you with every request. The speak good english but if you speak French fluently it will help you out anywhere in Brussels....Save time looking around if you want a lovely hotel central with great location book this...Also ask for any of the rooms over looking the Grand Place, a must do !!!!!

Room Tip: Ask for The Grand Place View from top floor... The are only to happy to help...
