This hotel is not a 5 star, but a good 4 star with great service. We were allowed to check in 3 hours early and 3 hours late, no extra cost. The standard rooms are pretty tired now, but they are smart and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is probably 3 star standard but reasonable enough because I was more concerned with enjoying myself rather than what the room I was peeing in looks like. Very nice bar and lobby, expensive drinks and mini bar but what do you expect? Close to good restaurants and bars, few minutes from grand place depending which way you walk. (Take a left then go down leopold). I really liked this hotel, but I you are paying the rack rate it is probay too expensive. The executive rooms were only a bit more and look well worth it. I am sure if you pay the extra you will have no complaints at all, rather than a couple like mine. Again, fantastic service but go for the better rooms. Will stay again no doubts at all.

This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel. The business room was very good - recently refurbished, a good size and very quiet. The hotel staff were extremely helpful (I had lost a bag on the way to the hotel and they did all they could to help). But breakfast was manic! The first day there was no milk, the second day no bowls...and it felt like being in the middle of a riot. Very noisy and very messy (the staff could not clear the tables quickly enough - not their fault as the room was packed). To be fair, this was midweek and the place was full of business groups. Breakfast on Sunday and Monday was a much more civilised affair.

We stayed there for two nights the hotel is very closely located to the grand place and galleries st Hubert. It is also just a few minutes away from rue neuf where you can go for shopping. ,any restaurants and pubs are found nearby
Our room was very clean and modern and we had business facilities made available on the sixth floor. The staff was polite and the bar was very cusy but the breakfast room was noisy.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the inside of the hotel to avoid any room from the street, that is if you don...

Very efficient, clean and excellent service. Buffet breakfast was a bit lacklustre. Coffee hard to get hold of, and scrambled eggs had been 'kept alive' by the addition of cream/butter or similar. Go for the freshly cooked ommelette or fried eggs if you want eggs!

Room, clean and tidy, with everything working. Staff very willing to please.

Room Tip: Junior Suites are nice and spacious

Check-in was friendly and helpful. They coped well with checking in a large group for a conference at the same time as I arrived. The lobby and bar area are small but attractive. The room (I had a standard room) was reasonable size, and overlooked the central atrium which is actually a nice view. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom well equipped with a good shower - although the bath is very narrow. Breakfast and free wifi were included in the rate - overall very good value for the quality of the hotel.

One problem is getting a taxi in the morning. There is a stand, but it doesn't get any taxis. Apart from this it is a very good location not far from the Grand Place.

The hotel is very well located, steps away from the exit of the Les Galeries St Hubert shopping arcade, and very near the fabulous St Michel & St Gudule Cathedral, which reminds me of Notre Dame in Paris. Its about 8 minutes walk from Grand Place. We were able to check in at 9.30 am on a Saturday, as the room was ready. Our business double room was spacious, well furnished in a modern manner, with an Nespresso machine and big bathroom. The bed was too soft for my liking, but this turned out to be the case for most of the hotels in Belgium we stayed in. The hotel's concierge was helpful and knowledgeable, responding to our earlier email for restaurant recommendations within a day. The hotel's lobby is impressive, with plants and water features and a Michelin star restaurant called Sea Grill which we did not try. There is a very nice looking restaurant and bar just up the road called Belga Queen - the bar was pretty cool and serves good mojitos. The "business lounge" is really just a small area with sofas next to the lift lobby on the 6th floor where guests can avail themselves to the free mineral water, Coke, beer, tea and coffee, but nevertheless it was a useful feature. Breakfast buffet had a very good selection and the place was crowded. Overall, great value and I would stay here again if I return to Brussels.

Room Tip: Get the Business Double Room as it is bigger and better furnished, and you can get free mineral wate...
