We stopped in, right near the EU parliment building, for breakfast on Saturday and had fantastic service and wonderful food, making this my new favorite place for breakfast! Great assortment of breads, good coffee, perfectly cooked eggs and wonderful jellies to place on top! The menu showed some interesting open faced sandwiches but we didn't try any. Such a cute little cafe for a small informal meal. I highly recommend it!

We spent the weekend in Brussels and popped in for breakfast. For a reasonable €5 you get fresh sourdough bread, a croissant and tea or coffee. On the tables are confiture, pear syrup(poiret a total must-try) and other spreads. The service is absolutely wonderful and the staff speaks English too.

Went to Tout Bon from the European Parliament (it's just around the corner). The food sounded exciting on the menu, but was a little disappointing when it came out.
The place is quite cute though.

The location is difficult to beat: Right on Place Luxembourg with a view of the square and the European Parliament sits the café and bakery Tout Bon. Sunny terrace when there is good weather. The standard breakfast consists of a large breadbasket and a wide variety of jams, honey and yummy chocolate spread and a good coffee or tea. During the sessions of the Parliament he café is regularly packed in the morning with Members of the European Parliament (Daniel Cohn-Bendit is one of the regulars), journalists, eurocrats - and later in the afternoon also some tourists. The lunch menu is quite small and mainly consists of salads and "tartines" (sandwiches). The prices have risen recently One sandwich costs around 10 Euro. The relatively small quiche (12 Euro incl. a small salad) was one of the worst I ate for a long time: Just a lot of white bread and liquid cheese. Tout Bon also sells high-quality bread and cakes for take-away. Tout Bon is open every day incl. Sunday from 7h to 20h. That makes it a great place if you want to eat something in the EU Quarter between 15h and 18h when most other places are closed or on a weekend.
