On Thurs. night, 10 Oct 2013, about ten of us from various countries got a last minute reservation at this restaurant on a side street off of the Grand Place. Aside from us, there was one other diner in the restaurant. What a dinner we had, we all enjoyed it immensely! Although many of us don't speak French, there was one animated person who described our meals and desserts with such expression that we all agreed that we would hire him for our respective companies, 0 The food was great! All thanked our Belgian host for choosing the restaurant. I would go back to this restaurant.

We came here on a Friday evening and we're immediately greeted warmly by the owner. The interior is a hodgepodge of baroque decoration, eclectic and elegant but warm and welcoming. For drinks they mostly do wine by the bottle but they do have a couple beers on tap as well a few bottles trappist beers.
We started off with the scallops and oyster mushrooms. The scallops were done perfectly. These guys are clearly very passionate about properly preparing really great food. For entrees we had the waterzooi with seafood and the duck breast both very well executed. This place is definitely worth a look if you want authentic belgian cuisine and great service. The prices are quite reasonable as well.

Went here based on TA reviews on a Monday lunchtime: we were the only diners - a slightly surreal experience but one we'd recommend wholeheartedly! Don't be afraid to ask for the 29 euro menu; its advertised outside but not clear on the menu - but it does exist. Three options for each course, all very Belgium, and everything we had was very good indeed. Wine by the glass or bottle only, not the caraffe.

Greeted warmly by the waiter we were sat in an empty restaurant, but not for long. After the charming, enthusiastic chef came and gave us his recommendations for the evening (he has less English than the waiter, but made up for it in passionate explanation), the tables rapidly filled with locals and tourists.

Service was unhurried but attentive, and the chef's choices were bang on. Gorgeous local duck, and a tender entrecot were our selection to follow entrées of scampi and a mushroom vol-au-vent. All were delicious, and with deux bieres et cafes, the bill was still less than €80.

Charming, off the main drag, quiet with excellent quality and service : what more could you ask for.

A little restaurant with 6 or 7 tables. Superb french food and wine to go with it. 2 dishes for each of us and a bottle of good red wine and a cup of coffee. All in all 100€
I would go here again
