“Disappointed”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013 via mobile

We were looking for this statue for a couple of hours and people gave us wrong direction. It is just there at the Grand Place. Unfortunately, due to excessive touching from tourists, the statue was removed due to bad condition for restoration. Not sure when they will replace it though

“Just a step away from Grand'Place on the way to Manneken Pis”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2012

These two attractions are not spectacular but they are part of the Brussels folklore.
t'Sertclaes bronze statue with his dog is related to some kind of belief and visitors feel compelled to caress both t'Sertclaes arm and his dog's head.
This implies that the bronze is eroded little by little and one day will need to be refurbished.
