Wonderful park is close to the main EU buildings in a bustling part of Brussels, but you would never know it once you walk through the gates. There are lots of paths for walking, an the area is a hit with joggers as well. Bronze art work is scattered along the paths. The triumphal arch that is the main entrance is a grand scale. There are also museums in the park entrance buildings.

if it is photographs that you want you must visit it during the day. However I visited at night on a beautiful october night and it was magical. the fountain on the opposite side of the Cinquantenaire is also beautiful to sit by and maybe have a picnic as there are large grassy areas.

A lovely animated park and breathing space in the city. Even if the rest of the city is sleepy and slow on sundays, you can be sure to find joggers, crickers, families and others keeping Parc du Cinquantenaire filled with energy.

In a city renowned for its parks, this was the most impressive we found. It's huge, with fountains, grassed areas edged with tree-line walks, boules courts(?) and beautiful buildings. The automobile museum is at one end, and there is a huge arch with bronze statues at the top. It's a great place to go for a walk or run (the locals do too) or just sit on the grass and relax.
