“An absolute must see while in Brussels”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013

The buildings in this square are absolutely beautiful and it is very atmospheric as there are several small cafes and restaurants. The surrounding streets have qualit lace and chocolate shops which are also well worth a visit. All the shops are very traditional in this area.

Was a bit disappointed when visiting the Grand Place at night as I was expecting the buildings to be more lit up than they were.

“An Amazing Vista”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013

The wonderful architecture and the sheer scale of it when you first enter the Grand Place is breath-taking. Be sure to have your camera to hand as there is a lot to see and admire.....and there are always many other tourists moving about. The fact that you can also sit in the square and enjoy a meal or just a drink adds to its charm.

“Spectacular Square”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013

This is a must when visiting Brussels - it is awesome to see the various wonderful buildings with spectacular architecture. Add to this the opportunity to have a meal or sit and have a beer whilst in the square merely adds to the pleasure.

“Must see in person”

Pictures simply cannot capture the gilded, sculptural magnificence of the Grand-Place's guild houses and soaring city hall.

“Must see Brussels”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013

Pretty central square, expensive surrounding shops and restaurants, but as long as you don't open your purse, its a must see.
