“Small but famous”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

Sometimes people hardly notice that little guy, I guess that they expect it to be bigger. Manneken Pis has a lot of different costumes that organizations or companies have given him.

“Small Statue... So what”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

One expects great things of Manneken Pis after everything that is touted out about it, however once you get there the anti-climax is huge... It's a small statue on a street corner (sometimes dressed up)

“A classic must see in Brussels”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

This little man having a wee is as much Brussels as the Eiffel Tower is Paris.

I had imagined it much larger and located on a big square but it is located on a street junction, in a corner a few min walk from Grand Place.
Go early or late if you want to avoid the turist crowds and if you are looking for a nice belgian pub to have a rest from the siteseeing and sample the local beer in, go to the Poechenellekelder, just 2 sec up from the location of the statue.

If you are lucky you get to see the Manneken Pis dressed up in one of his many outfits. We were there on St Patricks Day so he was dressed in his Irish clothes.

Well worth the short walk to see this little man :-)

“Waste of time - insignificant”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

This is supposed to be Brussels' equivalent to Copenhagen's 'Little Mermaid'. Trust me - it is not!
It is a small, 2-foot tall statue (on a wall) on a street corner that looks totally insignificant with matching forgettable surroundings. Very unimpressive and not worth making the effort to go and see.

“He is small but still go there”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

It is 250m for the grand place, takes you 5 minutes to go there, so have a quick look. You will be happy you saw it, it didn't take you a lot of time.
