We had lunch here after seeing all the people inside the restaurant and it was so good! I would have gone back again but we were only in Brussels for 2 days. My hubby and I shared a plate of 2 meatballs, both pork/beef, with the Mamy sauce and a side of fries. It was actually a perfect amount of food for us to share for lunch, we’d probably have gotten 2 meatballs each if we didnt have reservations for a big dinner later on. OMG, it was so delicious! I’m craving some more right now quite honestly.

You can choose the pork/beef or chicken or veggie meatballs and you have a choice of 6 different sauces and a handful of different sides. We ate at the location just off the Grand Place. I’ll definitely eat there again we I return to Brussels.

This place is really tasty and moderately priced for the area. Think about the ball and sauce combinations before you order to get the best flavors, the framboise (raspberry) with beef went together very well. Big portions, three balls with sides for two is enough.

Such a perfect place to stop for lunch. Choose your own meat, sauce and side... all were amazingly delicious. The service was also excellent...quick after you order at the window and incredibly friendly. Loved it!!!

Came here with my partner this evening after seeing some of the tripadvisor reviews and walking past it a couple of times on our wanders.

The order process is very simple - much like GBK in the UK. You order at the bar, choose your meatball meat, the sauce and the side. We went for the ‘Classic’ Menu - two pork/beef meatballs, two sauces and one side of Belgian frites. It was €13.50 each. Drinks were extra and there’s plenty to choose from. Once ordered, you take your drinks to your table and the food is brought over to you.

The meatballs were lovely, definitely try the mushroom sauce!! The meal is presented well, too - on large chopping boards and each meatball has its own little pan it sits in. Very instagram-worthy!

Felt very traditional and trendy at the same time - they boast about their use of Grandma’s recipe, and I couldn’t tell any different but the meatballs were really nice, not dry at all and a good portion size.

Overall, a nice place and definitely worth a visit for some traditional Belgian food and beer!

We came on a bustling Saturday evening, among the Christmas markets and light shows at the Grand Place and got a table upstairs no problem.
