This place seems to be very famous in Brussels. Living in Brussels, we visited this place for the first time.
Decor is industrial, though they tried to make someting cosy. Big and small tables in wood, quit dark but still ok.
They have a variable drinking menu, most off the beers come from brewery Duvel.
It was a bang holiday in the afternoon so there were not so many costumers.
It's a self-service bar, service was friendly. Staff was very relaxed.
This is a good place to drink, most of the food is Japanese (not a fan).
Is this a place to visit? There are a lot of bars in the neighborhood. For the price, choice and service you find better.

There is a super chill terrace at the back of the restaurant, and the inside is also very cosy. Very affordable, and the asian food is really good ! Bottle of wine 20€, and one main dish 10 to 15€.
Big tables are available for large groups or tiny ones for closer chats.
We fell in love with this place.

We had a drink in this place while we were attending a musical afternoon where several DJ's came to play a set. The atmosphere was realy chill and the interior had a nice and cosy feeling to it. The seats were not so comfortable, but we didn't mind.

There's something not quite right with Kumiko. Let's start off with the obvious, and note that the hipster-factor here is off the charts. With furniture cobbled together from eccentric pieces of wood, a long list of available gins and craft beers and a "concept" for the way you order and receive your food, Kumiko is more hipster than an independent bearded graphic designer wearing a beanie working on his MacBook in a popup coffee shop. So if that's not your thing, start running now and don't look back.

Once you look beyond the (undoubtedly ironic) hipster interior and get down to the actual experience, Kumiko unfortunately does not impress. There's an lazy feel to some of the food, whether it's the gyoza, which I suspect was frozen, or the miso soup that when drained left a thick residue of miso powder at the bottom of the bowl. But the main issue here has to be the service.

There's something that feels very off with the attitude of the people behind the bar. It's hard to put one's finger on what's wrong exactly, but the overall vibe is one of contempt for the clientele. It feels like an insider clique, of people who get along with each other very well and are very pleased with themselves for what they're doing, but it's almost as if it's irrelevant to them whether the clientele is there or not, let alone whether they're enjoying themselves.

Why bother coming here if you don't feel welcome?

Good gyoza and chicken brochette. Mains are ramen and donburi (bowl of rice with kelp, radish and crispy onion) only. Order, prepay and pick up your so-so food at the bar after a loooooong wait. Maybe that is why they have such wide selection of board games?
