After having had a lovely meal here last June, I thought it the perfect place to go for a meal again. This time, we had crab croquettes followed by the cold half-lobster dish and crème brûlée for pudding. The service was very attentive and for what you're getting, the price isn't too bad. I had made a reservation online the night before for 20.30 and we were 20mins late due to a previous engagement over-running, but there were no qualms with that from the staff, which was appreciated.

The restaurant was clean, waiters were friendly, lobster stew was delicious, the swordfish was also lovely, don't go for the house white wine and ask for the wine bottle to be on your table.

Very friendly reception on arrival and, although very busy, we were told there was no trouble fitting us in.
However, Once we got up stairs we were squished on to the end of a huge party of 12, whereby the only way either we or the other party could leave the table was to physically move it!
Hoping that would be the worst of it we both ordered the €22 set menu, and to begin with were fairly pleased: The waiter was friendly and we got some complimentary bread and dips whilst waiting.
However, thats about as good as it got. The starters came and, although they weren't terrible, they really werent of the quality expected.
After that we were completely forgotten about! It took around 15 minutes for our plates to be cleared, and we didn't receive our mains for a further hour, during which the waiter went out of his way to avoid any eye contact whatsoever and the table opposite were served all 3 courses!
When the food did arrive, it smacked of the microwavable fish-in-a-bag fillets you get in the frozen food isle of a supermarket - bland and kind of rubbery. Luckily we didn't have to wait long for the dessert, which was essentially a scoop of mousse similar to the type you might get in a cheap yoghurt pot (from the next isle on in the supermarket).
When the bill came we pointed out the long wait and asked if anything could be done to compensate us. The manager flatly denied we had waited any longer than 20 minutes, and when I pointed out that the waiter had already acknowledged the wait, saying it was due to the chef forgetting our order, he told us in the rudest tone possible that an hour's wait was completely acceptable. Not one apologetic word came out of his mouth the whole time and, as a paying customer, I have never been treated so obnoxiously.
We left swiftly and wouldn't return if you paid us.

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant recently at the suggestion of the hotel concierge where we were staying. We had made a reservation on line but when we arrived at the restaurant, the gentleman who greeted us seemed unhappy to see us. He could not find our reservation in his book and then sent us up not one but two flights of stairs with no one accompanying us. When we first arrived on the second floor, we waited for 30 seconds or so before a waiter told us that we had to go up another flight of curving, steep stairs. We should have left then. In the course of the first minute in this restaurant, two people made us feel unwelcomed. We were finally seated on the third floor with the other tourists. Had the food been above average, we would have enjoyed ourselves, but it was only average. The service, while competent, was similarly unengaging. We had, on prior eveings, found the restaurant owners and servers in Brussels to be delightful and friendly but this was not the case here. We would not return.
