Loved Noordzee. It’s a simple seafood stand about 10 minutes from the Grand Place, but very popular and very good. Gets a little tough to order at times with the crowd and, in my case, the language barrier, but the food was worth the trouble. I got shrimp croquettes, tasty and filling, paired with a beer. My wife got the herring (delicious and fresh) and white wine. As others have mentioned, you’re at the mercy of the weather, but on a sunny day it’s a great lunch break and fun experience. Also interesting to look in the poisonnierie itself, with its selection of fish and prepared dishes, was mouth-watering. Definitely a worthwhile stop.
