Went twice and simply amazed. I literary wanted to order more dishes just to taste them because I was full after the first and the starters. You have to go.

“Sold us a trip to Italy”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

We were trying to get to another restaurant on the this street for lunch but it was closed. Lucky us! The food was great, it was one of the best meals we had in Belgium. The service was very good as well and the owner was very friendly. The pasta was fresh and the ragout (sp.) was out of this world! It was towards the end of the lunch hour so the owner was able to chat with us for a few minutes and let us know that he brings most of the ingredients back from his family estate in close to Florence including the olive oil and wine. I can't wait to visit Tuscany!

“A little gem”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

I dined here a few times. Very nice little restaurant with La Mama behind the stove. Menu card is very limited but there is always something that should please you. And there are always a few 'specials of the day', depending on the inspiration of the moment.
Very near to the Zavel [Grand Sablon].

“Little corner of Tuscany in the mid of Europe”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

I' ve been in this restaurant with a group of friends while visiting Bruxelles. Once we came in the restaurant we were fascinated by the atmosphere that brings you directly home: Tuscany, as i come from there. The "welcome in" was stunning, the staff was very friendly and when they came with the Menu and the Specials they explained all the dishes they had and we really enjoyed it as we found a very tasty specialty of our region the "Ravioli Gnudi"!!!
As starter we had "Assiette Degustation" a mix of meats and Pecorino cheeses: DELICIOUS! (higly recommended). Then we had their original "Tortelli" with Taleggio and pears, Ravioli Gnudi and their very very special Roastbeef. As wine we had the chance to taste the "Chianti Classico", that comes from their own production in the Chianti area, and it was a very good and tasty wine, (Recommended too).
The atmosphere was warm, calm and the setting was really inviting.

“some warmth of family run place missing....”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

We arrived late but still got places. Took house red wine which is good .Food tastes fresh and yum. Since were very late for lunch they tried thrning tables quick . I loved tge place but would be a bit charming with the italian gearrt welcome gesture.. the place needs some ruatic old family run magic.. I was missing the lady's magic on us...as all hearty italian homes do ..especially since we were a young decent group :) on the eve of summer . Giveme some smile and it will be perfect.
