We visited this restaurant on a Friday night and we were lucky to manage to find a free table for two, as it was otherwise fully booked. The atmosphere was buzzy and the restaurant's décor just typical of a rustic Tuscan trattoria.
The owner is polite and welcoming, and our waiter walked us through the menu knowledgeably. The starter choice consists in two platters, one with cured meats, the other with cured meats and cheese. We picked the latter and it was truly fantastic. The choice of pasta dishes has to be the reason why to visit this restaurant; the pasta is home made and the sauces simple, but full of flavour. We couldn't fit the dessert in as we were too stuffed!
This is not a cheap eat, although considered Brussels' restaurant prices and the fact that it is located just off Place de Grand Sablon, we were expecting to pay a similar amount and we were happy to do so, thanks to the quality of the food. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to try authentic Tuscan cuisine.
