All the guidebooks tell you to go here, so the place is filled with tourists but hardly no belgians since it is always full. The interior is the same as the 30ies witch is fun. Their own beer is good but be aware it taste more like wine or cider than beer it is VERY VERY sour since it is made in the lambic way (brussels way) Worth a visit while walking by, otherwise I would take another bar. The place is among the more interesting bars to see.

A friend recommended us to go here and we are really happy she did! The atmosphere is great and if you like beer, you're in heaven! You have many different kinds to choose from and the menu also offers simple dishes to most people's liking. This is where we learned that mustard goes really well with cheese.:-) (The cheese plate could have been a little more advanced though - it consists of big chunks of very mild cheese..) If you're not a beer drinker, they also serve wine and other beverages. The decor is however the pub's biggest selling point - go there and enjoy a lovely piece of Brussels!

Great place for a cheeky afternoon bar or if you have guests in town. Well worth a visit and kind of escapes the hordes of tourists. Staff seem grumpy but that's just because they are busy, if you make an effort with them they are friendly.

Though finding this place was not easy, once we found it, we loved it. The place was packed, even in the off-season, but we were still able to find a table. It seemed like many local professionals stop here since there were many large groups. We enjoyed some delicious beers in the beautiful art deco restaurant. The service could have been better - be prepared to practice your French.
